Batiste Original Dry Shampoo, Absorbs Oil & Grease, Classic Clean Scent, 3.81 oz

This is an excellent dry shampoo. It smells fresh without being too perfume-y, overwhelming, or chemically. Adds body without leaving hair too 'grabby' or coated feeling. Sprays in easily, absorbs oil very well, and brushes out well without leaving too much white residue behind. Does not make hair too matte, either. My hair is fine-textured, dark blonde and highlighted (so any remaining white powder residue is not as obvious as it would be on someone with really dark hair), with roots that tend to be a bit oily, so I usually wash every other day. The water where I live is too chlorinated/chemically to wash every day, plus it's too time consuming to wash my long hair daily. Using this dry shampoo easily adds an extra day between washes. I wash my hair on day 1, on day 2 (depending on weather) my roots are usually fine and I can brush out and restyle my hair. If I don't have time to wash on day 3, I use this dry shampoo. After my shower (use a shower cap to keep hair dry!) and before applying makeup, I brush my hair well before application to remove shed hair and knots, then spray this rather liberally all over my roots in sections. Clip the length back in a ponytail and put a thin plastic headband on to keep the front sections off my face, and apply makeup while allowing the dry shampoo time to work absorbing oil. Usually leave it in for at least 15 minutes, the longer the better. Then this trick: I use a clean, dry washcloth or hand towel (dedicated for this purpose) and gently rub the excess powder residue off my root sections, taking care to not tangle my hair too much. Then flip hair over and brush, brush, brush from root to tip to remove the remaining powder residue, flip my hair back over to the front, style, and spray in place. It it a bit time-consuming to take care to remove the excess powder and brushing it out, but all told, it's still less time-consuming than washing and blow-drying. This product leaves my hair somewhat shiny, not too matte. I'll continue to purchase this, and usually buy several cans at a time because I do use quite a bit in one go.

TL:DR Lightest starch (rice), most effective oil soaking, disappears well, texture is good, my hair doesn't feel dry, stiff and rough to the touch. I have vividly coloured hair (aka party coloured, aka creatively coloured). For the blues and purples I love shampoo doesn't work well. It fades those shades REALLY quickly. Note: ALL the red based colours, party or natural, have the same issue. What's the solution? Dry shampoo. I've tried, at this point, seven kinds, including this one. One of those was even homemade arrowroot powder based. Overwhelmingly, I had texture problems. The starch would leave behind a dry, stiff feeling. No pliability to my hair. Now shine. I get that the texture added can be helpful, but I'm an air dry, hair down person. My hair was stiff, looked weird and STILL HAD A GREASY LOOK TO IT. This is after trying more, less, far away, close, waiting for ten minutes for the starch yo do its job, brushing like crazy. It wasn't great. I ended up buying Pureology Hydrate Shine Max. I'd apply a little to my hands and smooth over my hair, working into the ends then running my fingers through. It added a little shine, very little, but did absolutely nothing for the texture. I did a Google search and found a lot of blog and magazine posts with level based reviews on dry shampoo. This one was so consistently at or near the top. It works. Really well. It kills that dirty, oily look, my hair isn't rough and dry. It actually feels nice to the touch, and the starch brushes out. The shine is still deadened, but that Pureology I mentioned earlier? It works now. The other dries I tried had aluminum starch, tapioca starch, silica silyate and arrowroot. The Batiste uses rice starch. The carrier formulation isn't different from the others, except the two powder based ones. I just washed my hair today, after five days. I still showered to wash my body. I still washed my face. However, it was just the Batiste Hydrate Shine Max and brushing for my hair. It still smelled great. Looked good. Was touchable. Five days, people!!

This product seemed to work pretty well. It cleaned my hair and left it feeling clean. The only problem I had with it was the smell. It has a lemon-like scent that is very strong. The smell is gone after about 30 minutes or so though and it does leave your hair feeling clean. I mainly use it on days that I am off work. So far, I have tried Klorane, Tresemme and Batiste dry shampoos. Klorane is definitely my favorite, while Batiste is second, and Tresemme last. The main difference I found between Klorane and batiste was the smell. They both work well, but Klorane smelled a lot better. klorane has a fresh oatmeal scent that is soothing and smells really good. It helped me feel relaxed and clean for the day. Tresemme smelled fine but it didn't work very well. The only time I use a dry shampoo is on days that I am off work, and I like the fact that you get a lot more with Batiste, for a wonderful price. I love Klorane, but I used it twice and it was gone. I paid like $5.00 for a 1 oz spray of Klorane. With Batiste, you can get a 5 oz spray for about the same price. It definitely lasts a lot longer. I plan to continue trying other dry shampoos in the future, so I can see how well they all work, but Klorane is definitely my favorite so far.

I've been hunting for the perfect dry shampoo for a very long time now. I've tried an easy half dozen, more I'm sure. To date this is by far my favorite. I had found one other that I loved, my hair felt great, looked reat, and it lasted all day -- However the whole day I left white fingerprints all over everything. Black pants anyone? No. After I found that I kept trying to find something else that worked so well and didn't leave the fingerprints behind. Some made my hair sticky, some made my hair stiff, some just didn't seem to do anything. This Batiste is perfect. It does all of the things you would want, your hair looks as if you've washed it that morning. Your hair still FEELS like hair, it's very touchable. I have dark auburn hair and you can't see any residue in my hair at all. There's no strong scent that comes along with the product either. I can spray this in my hair in the morning, go to work all day, go out for drinks after, not get home until late, and my hair still looks oil free. Also, unlike some of the others I've tried, I don't have to be terribly careful with the usage either. If I accidentally spray too much, meh, that's ok.; It's always worked into my hair just fine. I spray it in all the roots and all over the top of my head lightly, then go about my business getting ready. after some time I rub my scalp with my fingers, then leave it alone again. Sometimes 2 minutes go by, sometimes 10, it doesn't seem to matter. Then after some more time passes I rub it into my scalp with my fingers again. then right before I get dressed I run a brush through my hair. Perfect results every time. The best part is, I can use it several days in a row (3 to 4 with no problems) and it works great day after day with no washing in between. (I also have no problems using a flat iron after I've worked it into my hair). When I do wash my hair, it washes out with no problems. I don't have to rinse and repeat, I don't have buildup left behind, It just washes out like nothing, not effecting the lather of my shampoo at all. All around great product that I would recommend to anyone with a more oily scalp

This has been a huge game changer for me. I've been trying to grow my hair out for the past several months, meaning that I've also been trying to wash it as infrequently as possible to prevent breakage. While my hair generally does pretty well, I do get that greasy look on my bangs after the first two days or so of no-washing. I had tried a cheap brand of dry shampoo several years ago when the craze had JUST started rolling around, and it left my hair feeling even heavier and greasier than when I started, so I got turned off. After stumbling upon the great reviews on this product, I decided that it would be worth a shot since I really didn't have anything to lose and it was pretty affordable. I received this in the mail and couldn't wait to use it since I was already on day 3 of no-washing. THIS STUFF IF FREAKING INCREDIBLE. I sprayed it on as directed and my hair felt so clean, not greasy and not too dry - just like my hair usually feels after washing. I was blown away - seriously. Now I'm actually able to go up to 6 or 7 days without washing my hair (you might think that's gross but I don't really care and my hair is super healthy and growing like crazy), and nobody would know any different - even if they were running their fingers through my hair or smelling it or something. This will be a permanent part of my beauty arsenal - and I've already re-ordered the three pack for use in the future! And I'll keep ordering and re-ordering forever. I love this s*&^.

I ordered the Batiste because of the price, but I had a hard time rubbing out the white powdered coating in my hair. There also was no scent. It did a fair job drying out the hair after a lot of effort trying to rub out the white powder. If you want an affordable dry shampoo you can try this, but you may consider paying a little bit more for a dry shampoo that you can easily rub out the white powder.

I read all the reviews stating there is residue on the dark drown spray and went ahead and bought the original pray instead. I have medium brown hair with outgrown highlights and figured that if the original leaves powdery whitish residue, I'd at least be able to use it after I touch up the platinum highlight. Ironically, literally a week later, I had our airbnb guest leave behind the dark brown spray which I was thrilled to try. So this is a review addressing both. The original does leave a slight whitish residue which is to be expected with most dry shampoos, love the smell and the oil absorbency. The dark does leave a slight brown residue which in my opinion does come off slightly onto the fingers and nails but it's noting to complain about, it wipes right off by rubbing your fingers (I don't have artificial nails) without even needing a wipe. I made it a point to touch my hair a lot just to see what happens and in my opinion the reviews complaining about the brown residue are overly dramatic (I myself am overly dramatic in many cases lol) - it's so minute that it's worth the "no-oil, fresh hair look". Also I slept on a bright white pillow case and there was absolutely no brown residue on my sheets as some other reviewers had complained. Another positive I like, is that the dark brown spray literally covers grays. I'm 36 and starting to see some individual grey hairs appear :( which is why I'm doing the platinum highlights. If you are a light or medium brunette - get the brown, if you are a blond, get the original, I can't speak for dark brunettes. You wont be disappointed. I am a forever customer and will keep both in stock brown for grown out roots and original for fresh highlights.

Batiste is hands down the BEST dry shampoo I have come across. I have bangs, fine hair, and oily skin--an unfortunate trifecta which often culminates in my end-of-day appearance being a stereotypical cross between "unwashed hippie" and "prison inmate with the DTs". To combat this look, I have invested in a multitude of dry shampoo and oil-reducing products, and while rice paper ended up a winner for my skin, no dry shampoo out there seemed to cut it for me...until Batiste. After much tireless searching, I ascertained that Batiste was one of, if not THE highest-rated dry shampoos out there, so I gave it a shot and was amazed at the results! I spritzed some on my (previously air-dried) bangs and roots before bed and put my hair in a top knot (without brushing) and woke up the next morning with volume and waves like I've only had from a professional blowout--and it stayed like that all day! I was so impressed after that first use that I decided to test it further. I went to a smoke-filled bar one night and instead of washing my hair before bed as I normally would, I puffed on some of this dry shampoo (brushing it through this time), did my top knot and went to bed. The next morning, the ashtray smell was gone (not just in my opinion, either--I made about 10 people smell me that day to make sure) and my hair was clean-smelling and soft with some nice body to it. In addition to the sterling results of these experiments, I have also found that the container lasts a good while--using it a few times weekly, one can lasts me and my medium-long hair about six weeks or more. The best part is, it enables me to wash my hair a little less (every 2-3 days, rather than daily), so that the oiliness on my scalp and forehead have been reduced. I'm very happy with Batiste and refuse to use any other dry shampoo.

Mycket bättre än jag trodde

Infelizmente ele funciona muito bem (infelizmente porque ele é caro). Já testei outras marcas e esse shampoo à seco foi o único que deixou o meu cabelo com uma aparência de limpo, retirou a oleosidade e durou o dia inteiro. Ele não deixa o cabelo oleoso com o passar dia e não deixa aquela bruma branca depois que é utilizado (meu cabelo é um castanho bem escuro e liso e propenso à ficar oleoso se não o lavo). Obviamente, ele nunca vai se igualar à uma lavagem com água e shampoo líquido mas ele ajuda muito naqueles dias em que por algum motivo não foi possível lavar o cabelo.

Top product. Geen restjes, geen witte waas. Super!

Ich kaufe dieses Trockenshampoo mittlerweile schon zum wiederholten Mal und bin nach wie vor sehr zufrieden. Es frischt die Haare effektiv auf und ich kann das Haarewaschen damit problemlos um ein bis zwei Tage hinauszögern. Der Duft ist angenehm und nicht zu aufdringlich. Beim Auftragen hinterlässt das Trockenshampoo zwar zunächst weiße Rückstände im Haar, diese lassen sich nach der kurzen Einwirkzeit aber ganz einfach mit einem Handtuch entfernen oder mit einer Bürste ausbürsten. Für mich funktioniert es zuverlässig und hält, was es verspricht. Ich werde es auch weiterhin kaufen.

Araştırdığımda Amazonda bildirilmiş belirli sürelerdeki fiyat düşüşlerinde fark iade edilecek diye ama bir ay sonraya tarih verilmiş. Umarım bu tür farklar karşılanır.
