invisawear Smart Jewelry - Personal Safety Device-Bracelet

This is a great concept. Everyone wants safety, however once the battery is dead, you cannot change it and must purchase another charm. Not to mention, it often went off by accident and didn’t go off on the first double click even when new.This is expensive and wasteful. I tried to change the battery myself. It takes a 3v lithium CR1220. BUT- I believe the unit is designed to break its contacts once opened and therefore totally prevents you from reusing the device. As if they didn’t charge enough, there’s now a subscription fee. How about charge more for a rechargeable model that’s is made of quality materials? The housing of the unit is also held together by sticky TAPE. Not actual glue or any sort of prong or structural support. It’s about $10 in flimsy plastic parts. It’s cheap to slap together and markets the fear we feel as women.Invisawear, DO BETTER. Or someone else will.

Original Review...I like the looks of the bracelet. I hope I don’t ever need to use it! Three drawbacks. 1. It broke off the ring attached to the bracelet after one week. 2. Because it broke off, I wanted to attach it to a different bracelet that I wear all the time. Can’t do that because InvisaWear can’t get wet and putting my Pandora on and off that I wanted to attach it to is a nightmare. So......I wore the InvisaWear for a week and it now sits on my bureau. Drawback #3. When you close out your apps on your phone, it shuts down InvisaWear. Therefore you have to reopen the app in order for it to work with your phone. (This might be my limited technology fault though!) All-in-all, I am not sure I would recommend right now. As I said, I like the idea in general though.Updated Review...the new and improved version of this bracelet has performed flawlessly! My first bracelet was replaced quickly and without any hassle. Customer service has been wonderful. I now would recommend this product!

I bought this for my mother and my disabled sister. Was super happy to get something that is stylish and yet, will be life-saving. Unfortunately, the subscription cost even more than the jewelry. And that’s costly on its own. I will not buy this item again.

I got my jewelry a month ago. I’m legally blind and couldn’t set it up. I waited for my daughter to set it up for me. I wore it ones or twice for a day or two but it’s awkward. and cumbersome to wear. I put it in a drawer. The last time I tried to wear it it keeps showing various error messages. And, it’s not working. I had it on last Saturday, to give it another chance. I took a horrible fall down the basement stairs while trying to move a huge bookcase. I was pushed down a flight of stairs, crushed and pinned under the bookcase for almost an hour before help came and called the paramedics to free me and get me in an ambulance and to the hospital. I’d tried pushing the charm for help. It didn’t work. It didn’t notify my family, contacts, adt or 911. I would like to find out how to move forward with this jewelry. I like the idea and it’s good; if the jewelry works and is reliable. I contacted the company and haven’t gotten a response. Seriously, I could have died waiting for help. The bookcase weighs 2oo-300 lbs (according to the seller), took 5 men to load it onto the truck and 3 burly paramedics could only get it up a few inches so I could shimmy out from under it. That’s not the company’s fault. The fact that the jewelry didn’t connect to help is. I would like a replacement in the hopes that the jewelry might do what it’s designed to do. I would appreciate the company addressing the fact that the bracelet charm didn’t work as advertised.

I didn’t receive package as they did not leave it where they said they did. I found it. I open package activated the alarm and I had no problems. I love it and it seems is safe hopefully I never need to use it. I like the color and is light.

Easy setup and very user friendly.

It’s a great idea however, after a few weeks with it, it stopped working. I’m returning mine and re ordering a new one. If that one doesn’t work either I will update so people don’t waste their money.

I have purchased three bracelets. My sister who jogs early morning. My niece who is going off to college. My friend who is always in a different state for work. I have one and use when not with my husband or travel to see my sisters. This is MUST for ALL WOMEN. Added level of protection needed today. M
