Ice Wand Commercial Ice Machine Slime Prevention Water Filter

We have had same ice machine in our school gym since we built it 5 years ago. Machine works great but keeping it clean has always been a chore and very involved to try and remove all the “slime/black moldy pieces” if you have an ice machine you know exactly what I’m talking about. Sounds disgusting but it’s part of having a commercial ice machine. Well we bought this installed it 2 months ago and let tell you IT WORKS! I don’t leave many reviews but I had to on this product. Ice machine still is clean with no signs of the “black moldy pieces”. Just break machine down before you install this and do a very thorough cleaning so you start out with a super clean machine. It’s worth the $50 at least for my staff and I. I’m usually one cleaning the machine and I spend 3-6 hours doing it properly. This product does exactly what it advertises. I saw others online but this one is the one we chose, and only one I can speak for. Give it a try you want regret it. I’m ordering a 2nd one now just to have on hand. It says 3 months but I’m going to see if we can go 4-6. I’d like to get away with just 2 a year due to cost of this product.

Bought these to try in a Scotsman ice machine. Will check it in a week or so to see how it's doing
