Emily Bear - Diversity

This Songbook for the Diversity CD is very good quality. The only thing that makes it less than perfect for me is that I am not very good at piano improvisation and there are several songs in the songbook that have improvisation sections in them without the music score for how it was played on the CD. That means sections of those songs that I may not be able to learn to play for some time without the help of someone to fill in the gaps with sheet music for me to learn from. If someone out there can play them in their entirety and produce a MIDI file, those of us that need the rest of the score can print it from the MIDI.

Emily Bear is extremely talented. Looking forward to more delights from this creative young girl. We've seen her live and she is just as delightful and extraordinary in person as you might expect from her music.

It's a challenge, but I have hopes that I can achieve something that approaches how beautiful this music sounds when Emily plays it. I hope she'll continue to offer her CDs in piano solo form.

Shiny book, and clear sheet music, cool pictures too! Liked the little bit of text with the pictures. I really like it. And love Emily Bear.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. Our house is filled with beautiful music. Highly recommended.

Von der Musik her super, wer's nicht mag kauft sich ja das Heft nicht.Aber von der Verarbeitung her ist es nicht optimal. Sollte wohl sehr hochwertig sein, daher wurde dickes, glattes, etwas glänzendes Papier verwendet, wie für einen Fotoband. Das ist nur leider für Noten ungeeignet, weil man schlecht Eintragungen mit Bleistift machen kann (muss ein sehr weicher sein). Und wenn man was ausradieren will (als Pianist trägt man sich ja durchaus mal Fingersätze ein und ändert diese eventuell), geht das nicht Rückstandslos und hinterlässt unschöne Glanzstellen.Außerdem hält das Heft durch die Art der Bindung nicht aufgeschlagen. Klammern in der MItte wären viel besser gewesen. So muss man es jedes mal gewaltsam auseinanderdrücken (wonach es dann natürlich nicht mehr gut schließt), nach jedem Blättern erneut. Sehr nervig Da hat einer nicht nachgedacht bzw war einfach kein Musiker.

This book it completely worth the price... The book had glossy pages which makes the score look great.. Publishing aside the pieces are FANTASTIC .. Tought though but amazing to hear .. Very happy with buy
