Speck Products GemShell Cell Phone Case for iPhone 8 Plus/7 Plus/6S Plus - Clear with Gold Glitter/Clear

My Identical, twin, teen daughters both love this phone case. They're actually polar opposites in personalities so I was shocked that they both agreed on this case. The first case I bought in December for $11. That lasted so well that I bought my other daughter one in April. The price went up to $16, but I still thought the case was well worth it. Now I don't have to worry about broken phones. Does it NOT seem like teens drop their phones every 15 minutes? What's up with that?!?

Don't get me wrong, I am very brand loyal to Speck cases, where it is the number one brand I purchase, gift, and recommend. But what I will say is that the soft plastic around the edges and corners starts to yellow/discolor with time, even a couple months, and after a couple drops, the case will start to crack around the edges. I know Speck has a warranty program, but I haven't had good luck at all with them. What I will say though, is that that cracking of the case is good, it means that the case is protecting the phone. I've had much better luck with these than even the Otterbox series. In those regards, I will continue to purchase Speck cases, especially the speck presidio, due to them doing their jobs, protecting what they are designed to, well.

I LOVE this case. It fits well and is made of good quality material. It has just the right amount of fine glitter that sparkles without being too much. It is clear plastic with the sparkle embedded, I can see the phone logo through the case. As a professional, I can take this to a meeting and not look like a preteen with a glitter phone. Super feminine without being gaudy.

I love this case! I have a silver iphone and this case looks awesome on it! The gold isn't super gold so it still looks good on the silver phone. It has just grippy enough to feel comfortable holding it while still easily slides into a pocket. Does a great job protecting phone from drops. This is probably my 3rd of these cases. The case will crack/break on the ends and corners once it's dropped enough times, but I have NO damage to my phone.

Another amazing Speck phone case! I drop my phone a lot cause I am busy and on the go - always trying to carry too much stuff etc. my Glass protective screen with my last “‘other” brand name case was constantly cracking. I bought a new glass protection cover and this Speck and no cracks from dropping it! Plus this case is fire! It sparkles and looks amazing. Best protection for your phone without all the bulkiness like other cases.

cute subtle silver sparkle. it’s camera slot on the back of the phone is cut for iphone 8+ or higher but it worked for my 7s plus. great raised edges so not much to worry about when dropping it. fit snug but sometimes makes a creaking noise when i squeeze the phone with my hand. apple + phone info slightly visible through the case on the back of the phone. you can’t really tell when you scratch it because the glitter is saturated enough but you can feel that it’s scratched. i love this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a slight feminine touch but nothing too eye popping.

Love this case. It’s the second one I’ve purchased after having used the 1st for 2 years. Holds up very well and because of the sparkles wear and tear is not very noticeable. I’m very outdoorsy and it has protected my phone from many drops.

I have the iPhone 7 Plus and it didn’t fit my phone at all. It was very loose and didnt line up with the buttons.

My whole back phone cracked while using this case.. not protective enough
