This has become one of my toddler’s favorite things. The robot repeats everything and not only is it hilarious, it encourages my son to practice speech, and makes him feel like he has a tiny minion to boss around. Fantastic for toddlers, helps them listen and practice talking with nothing at stake in a fun way and it also shuts off after a lack of use so it saves charge.

My son got this little robot for Christmas. I would have never guessed it would be his favorite thing. It repeats what he says and being three, this really entertains him. He thinks that the robot is communicating with him and agreeing with his every question because it repeats him. Never in a million years would I have thought I needed to build a bed for Robot to "sleep" on when he charges at night. But here I am, cutting up socks and finding stuffing. For a simple design I want you to know it has done amazing things for his little imagination

If you have a toddler you're probably familiar with "Talking Tom"; this is essentially the same. You push a button on the top of the robot's head to turn it on (it's eyes light up and it makes "robot sounds" when you do). Then it simply repeats everything you say, and anything it picks up in the background, in a higher pitch. The button on its head turns it off again (with more "robot sounds"). That's all there is to it. It leave a lot open for the kids to use imaginative play and was a hit as a birthday present for a 3 year old. My only concern with it was how fragile it seemed. The robot's only about the size of a cell phone, and I'm afraid it won't last long before its broken (this is also a "particular to this situation" concern - the 3 year old in question is a very active boy and has twin brothers a year younger than him - that's a lot of energy in one household).

This was cute and seems to be pretty sturdy, metal figure that is poseable but does not stand in different poses. My 2 1/2 yr old nephew loved it because it is a robot. The voice repeat feature on the robot I received was not clear at all. Several of us tried it so I know it was not just me or my nephew. I was disappointed with that since it seems a number of reviewers said the voice repeat was really clear. At any rate it makes cool "space" noises and made my little guy happy because its a robot.

I bought this as a gift for my grand son and he absolutely loves it. He keeps this robot by his side! It's not the strongest quality but it serves it purpose for kids.

We purchased this robot for our son for Christmas and it was immediately his favorite toy he received that is until a half-hour later it just stopped working and we had a very upset 3 year old. We ordered a replacement robot and after getting that one it also only lasted as long as the previous one. I contacted the selling explaining what had happened and asking if this were a common issue. The seller responded and said it sounded like a dead battery issue and said we should replacement the batteries. I emailed them back and said it seemed fair to me to get a refund on the toy due to the hassle and the fact we would have to buy batteries for a new toy that should just work. Their response was that they would give us $6 and not the full refund. We purchased new batteries and again it worked for less than a half hour this time and then started making the same noises and eyes flashing. Again our 3 year old was very upset. I do not recommend this toy at all. Yes, it is very cool and seems to be a big hit with kids but what a waist of time and money for something that only lasts such a short time.

My nephew picked this out for his birthday and it was his favorite toy I was told. It was for his 5 th birthday and ended up taking it to school for show n tell! It's been months and my brother said he still plays with it all the time!

Even the adults played with this guy for longer than probably acceptable. Easy to program. Very clear recording. Sound is good, not too loud or low. Sizing is small so easy for little ones to carry without a hassle. Lots of fun light coloration. Just about every segment of body is adjustable for imagination play. We are “travelers” usually 5-8 trips a year both domestically and internationally. I can make bets this guy will be in the toy bag!
