I have had a life-long battle with gum disease. For some reason, dentists say genetics, I am prone to gum disease. Plague is a battle. My body forms it quickly, and my teeth must be cleaned every three months. After paying 8K for a bogus deep cleaning with anesthesia and stem cell treatment, both my own they took from my arm during the surgery and from cadavers (that does not work, so pay no heed to what the so-called periodontists or other folks tell you). We are still about five years out before scientists can separate the actual stem cells needed for any area of the body, per a doctor recently telling me this in examining a bad knee. Learn from my expensive mistake. I have finally unlocked the mystery of how to KILL the bacteria in our mouths that form plaque and create resultant gum disease. Dentists and periodontists are full of ideas about what we should do for this issue but have yet to offer an actual solution, at least in my view. I researched medical articles, which revealed that the only solution that effectively kills this germ is povidone-iodine, PI, or betadine. After a recent deep cleaning from my dentist, who told me I could lose some teeth or that I would need expensive teeth replacement surgery, and much more, I got busy and ordered this product. I've used it for some time now (over a year), and it is working beautifully. Every cleaning since then has been perfect. There has been no bleeding, and the hygienist said she tried to get blood but could not. I've had four cleanings since using this product, and all remain very stable, and my mouth is clean. They did not listen to me when I told them that the PI is the key since all dentists are hung up on it being fluoride, flossing, and brushing, but that never helped me or my problem. However, each time I've been back for cleaning after using this process, they rave over my gums and mouth. Morning breath and clingy, thick plaque that turns into tartar almost instantly are a thing of the past for me. If you've read this far and want to know how I did this, here is what I do every day, without fail. 1. I bought a cheap gum irrigator because I knew from experience that the expensive name-brand one everyone flocks to is overpriced and does not use enough pressure. I fill that with water, about a 1/4 cup of food-safe hydrogen peroxide I ordered from Amazon and a drop or so of the PI. I use a full tank of water every three brushings, so I refill this every other day. I use the irrigator before I brush in the morning and night and sometimes more if I go out because it makes my teeth very white. HP does not kill the bacteria you want and need to kill but gives you a dazzling smile. 2. I brush my teeth morning and night. I do not use fluoride since it is toxic to our bodies, but you do use the toothpaste you prefer. I always use a SONICARE toothbrush. I think it is much better than the other leading brand with the little round brush head. 3. STOP FLOSSING! Use the interdental brushes instead. A good brand is TEPE. I order from Amazon. The brush used in between all teeth should be comfortable but tight. I use a variety. Eventually, your teeth will tighten if loose, and you must adjust the brush size accordingly. This is what you want. I fill a shot glass with water and add a drop or two of the Betadine. I dip the brush before and after using it between my teeth. It's quicker than flossing and much easier. It is a KEY to using Betadine or PI and works great to end all bad breath and gum issues. I usually only use the interdental brushes at night after brushing them. This item is so much more expensive in stores! Every Summer my dog gets infections on her paws due to all the things they spray in the grass where I live. Every night I have to give her paws a sponge bath using this item. You put it in bath water. It should be the color of tea. You don't need much water or formula. Just enough to get it on her paws. Splash it all over them and pat dry when you have your dog come out. Do NOT rub. This truly helps with infection.

The price is right for this iodine disinfectant - somewhat thin and not easy to dispense without spilling, but sufficient quantity for not worrying about it unless you lie in the white sheets when applied ...

Got this for my dogs paw. It was rough and spikey looking. After one soak with this diluted with water and her paws were smooth as they should be!

I am familiar with this product becasue it was usedn on me after my surgery to cleanse and heal so, I thought it would be good to have around. I used it on a rash I had and it cleared it up!!!
