Nicky, I know what you mean! This cream is much better, sinks in quickly and non staining. The oil, made by the same company IS orange and staining, which is why I've stuck with the cream, which is a very pale yellowy white colour. It has really improved my skin. Hope this helps! You can also buy it in a white plastic container which has a pump action, is cheaper and is the one I use. I assume it is cheaper due to the plastic as opposed to glass container.

Q: would this cream help with acne

Hi Chris. It does not specifically help with acne but with roseacea. However, it would be worth a try if your acne causes redness and inflammation of your skin. I have found this to be a very soothing cream. The effect builds up over time. My skin is very very sensitive and easily gets red and sore and this is the only skin cream I've tried that has resulted in a definite improvement. So I would say it might be helpful, but not a miracle cure. Might be worth contacting the company and asking if they do samples.

Q: How effective is this cream at reducing facial redness and red flushes in the skin?

Hi, I've found that the redness has reduced over a 3 - 6 month period since using the cream, although it is not 100% clear, it now appears that my cheeks are 'rosy' and not horribly sore/red. This is a huge improvement on my face and I can now touch my face without it been sore/tender. Very effective on my skin.
