I was surprised when I opened the parcel and saw a very fancy box (all padded inside and came with a very good quality lens cleaner cloth), and very well built lenses. At that price I was not expecting this quality of product. One of the lenses is brown and so give a warmer colour to your surroundings and the other is "black" and gives a colder colour and more protection from the glare of the sun. They are extremely easy to clip on and flip up, and clip off. They do move around a tiny bit if you are the type to keep fiddling with your glasses or face (in my case) but not enough to be a problem. I put them over smallish frames so they are a little bit bigger than my glasses lenses but it doesn't affect the comfort of wearing them. The clip part is near the bridge of the nose (where the glasses rest) and so you can see the clips if you look up at that area, it affects visibility a smidge but again, not enough to be uncomfortable or to matter. I would highly recommend these lenses and am very glad of my choice.

These are easy to fit and effective in reducing glare. Their flip-up feature makes them ideal for situations where the wearer needs to adjust rapidly between indoors and outdoors, or when driving in shade. My one criticism is that they are somewhat heavy and feel as if they are pulling my glasses down. The use of a lighter clip/mechanism would improve this, but a hard plastic might make them more fragile and an aluminium/dural would probably increase the price. So they are a fair compromise. I like them and will use them often.

This review is being posted only 3 days after receipt so is based entirely on first impressions, however those impressions are very positive. Two pairs of clip on sunglasses for less than £5 inclusive of delivery is a low price anyway but I am truly astonished with the quality of the goods I have received. They are very lightweight which is a great help when in use. Both pairs are really well finished and put together with what seems to me a very good build quality. The metal frames are thin and inconspicuous but appear well engineered. The mechanism to clip the sunglasses to ones prescription glasses is positive, easy to operate and comfortable in use. The lenses are also thin but do their job well, including the polarisation. I was also very impressed with the way these sunglasses were packaged, well protected by foam inserts in a box which also includes a very nice lens cleaning cloth. Need I say more? early days but so far top marks from me and would certainly recommend.

I bought these to use with my reading glasses on holiday and they fit perfect and worked so well. I almost paid for a pair of prescription sunglasses but glad I didn’t now. Would highly recommend. Come in a sturdy box, 2 pairs and a cleaning cloth

Bought to fit over my glasses in that low winter sun situation. They didn't really fit my, quite thick frames, so we're a bit fiddly to put on. So put them on before driving! Worked well at avoiding dazzle and were cheep!

My mum had had a cataract operation and needed to alter her prescription several times over a short period of time. Spec savers offered to sell her some clip-ons for £25 for one pair. which she couldn’t justify as they aren’t made of money. I found these. On Amazon. 3 pairs for £3.99. Amazing. Delivery was prime but 3 days rather than next day but this didn’t matter. My mum found that the night driving glasses reduces glare slightly but it was she sunglasses that she needed and she loves them. My parents are in the canaries at the moment. She loves the ease of attachment to her glasses and being able to flip them up if necessary. They come in a good case too. I just ordered some for myself. I work in Scotland and the low winter sun can be hazardous. These are cheap enough to leave in a hire car and if I forget them it’s not the end of the world

These two pairs of clip-on sun shades are really exceptional value and exceptionally good protection from UV rays. Such good value I feel I can’t complain about the clunky fit on my rimless glasses; I wonder if the clip arches are too deep as they seem to press into my brows and getting the fit right takes a bit of fiddling. I use the cardboard presentation box for one pair kept in my partner’s vehicle and keep the other pair in an old brolly sheath in the car I drive. The grey pair don’t interfere much with colour, while the brown pair makes everything rose tinted.

I was very dubious of clip on sunglasses but needed something quickly after emergency eye surgery. These clip on securely and look really good. I like having a choice of colours and the flip up lenses has proved useful. In the past I have always purchased prescription sunglasses for driving as reactions lenses don’t work behind a windscreen. However, after trying these clip on sunglasses, I’ll be using these in the future for driving as it’s a more budget friendly option than prescription sunglasses and I feel they look just as good.

An sich ja ganz nett. Aber die Metallhalterung steht sehr weit nach Richtung Gesicht heraus. So weit, dass bei mir die Brille weiter vom Gesicht weg steht, sodass ich dann unscharf sehe. Deshalb für mich unbrauchbar. Ab in die Tonne...
