The classic Fred Perry polo with contrasting stripes on necks and shrubs and applies independently to the laurel bark on the breast Review: Solid Fred Pretty Shirt - I've always considered Fred Perry a great brand. The reason I consider them a great brand is apparent when the shirt arrived. Fred Perry tapers the edge of their sleeves so that it fits snug and tight on your arms. The waist of the shirt isn't flared and doesn't have side venting, so it sits snug and flag across your waist. The collar is crisp and neat and hangs properly off your neck. The buttons on the shirt are well-stitched and come with extras inside the shirt (that match perfectly) should one of them ever be lost. The black on this shirt is rich (and does not fade) and the piping is noticeable, but not obtuse. The logo is neatly stitched but does not contort the shirt when washed (like Ralph Lauren shirts are famous for). The cotton is crisp, firm and stitched well, meaning the shirt retains it shape well when washed. If you want to know why some of us pay just a little extra for certain brands, this shirt can provide all the reasons why. It looks great, it feels great and it will clearly last for years. One warning though, Fred Perry shirts are usually designed for those of moderate to slim weight. If you are obese, Fred Perry shirts tend to cling in unflattering places and won't sit well. There are other brands that suit those who are very large or overweight better. I am tall and moderate weight and thus, the styling of the shirt matches really well. Review: Now I Need Some Bleachers: A Fred Perry Men's Twin Tipped Polo Review - I don't normally purchase clothing off the internet unless it's something like Levi jeans where trying it on in the store won't benefit me. I've been eying the Fred Perry polos for awhile, and desertcart had the best price especially when combined with a 20% off coupon. The Fred Perry Twin Tipped polo, made in China from 100% cotton, is similar to the bomber tipped polo except the collar and armband stripes are thinner with the shirt color showing in between. Otherwise the quality and construction adhere to the same standards. As a tall and slender guy who wears a 42R jacket, the large fits me well, even in the arms where other brands have been a little tight around the biceps. The piqué fabric is thick and a little on the course side and tends to look a bit wrinkled and the collar tends to curl after machine washing, but a quick ironing cleans it right up. Overall, this polo shirt looks good and is comfortable to wear. If you're looking for a great looking comfortable polo, Fred Perry polos are a great option. PROS: 100% cotton Machine washable High quality Good fit CONS: A little pricy (but worth it for me)

VERY different from English made
This is a good polo. I'd likely rate it 4 stars, but I gave it 3 because of the quality difference that now exists between new and older Fred Perry polos. It fits fine and it seems to be quality. BUT... there is a massive difference between the Chinese made polos and the ones that are/were made in England. If you've never worn an original Fred Perry- then I guess you'd never know the difference. But the fit, thickness and general quality of the English Fred Perrys are far superior. I have one particular Fred Perry (made in England) that I've worn and washed for nearly 14 years and it still looks and fits better than the Chinese polos I've bought within the last few years. Again- you won't be disappointed with this shirt if you view it as just another polo. But do not expect original Fred Perry quality. It just seems like their polos are most affected by the transition from England to China.

Classic XXL is a good fit for bigger guys
I have a few Fred Perry polos. They always are very nice quality even though they arent made in England (at least this style) but they are worth it for the sharp classic Fred look . The feel and quality arent as bad as alot of people say . I think they hold up fine of they are taken care of . These polos will always get you noticed .The fit overseas designer clothes are known to be nowhere near u.s. sizes . This is kinda true with Fred Perrys . I wear a xl tshirt .and i always order a xxl Perry. This one i got is a classic fit xxl it fits enough where its comfortable. Alittle fitted even for classic. They arent long shirts, so if your on the taller side watch how you wash and drying them or youll have half shirts for the beach .

very nice polo
These are very much genuine Fred Perry polos. I know this because of the stitching of the wreath emblem on the inside of the shirt and yes, I did wash and dry this shirt and it shrunk, but not too much. It fits perfectly now because although I ordered a large, I have a very broad muscular frame but am short so large shirts fit my shoulders and chest perfectly but are often times too long. It does tend to shrink in length, so if you are tall and skinny, wash it in a cold cycle and hang dry it to eliminate the problem. cheers.

BEST POLO EVER
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this Polo! I would imagine a polo is a pretty common item in any guy's wardrobe--I probably have a dozen that I wear regularly. I also have some high end polos for special occasions, that don't require dressing up. I have Burberry polos, and Lauren polos I have purchased at two hundred dollars and up. I believe this polo was less than a hundred. The quality of the fabric is unparalleled--it has weight and body and feels luxurious; it feels great on the skin. I am 5' 7'' and very fit--I took a chance and bought the XS size, and it fits me like a glove, as if it was made for me. This is an elegant, beautifully made, beautifully designed polo--one of the best that I have. I highly recommend it, and would buy Fred Perry products with confidence henceforth.

Very Nice Shirt, Wash With Care!
The Fred Perry Twin Tipped polo is true to size and washes well if you do it right. It looks great on my guy! A little laundry tip... in an effort to prevent shrinkage, I pulled it out of the dryer while it was still a little damp to finish drying on a WIDE hanger (to avoid shoulder bumps). My guy tried to repeat these steps but hung it immediately after pulling out of the washer and then put it on a regular sized hanger, which resulted in shoulder bumps due to the weight of the water in the fabric along with the too-small hanger. Frustrated, he threw it in with a regular load and dried completely in the dryer. Womp womp... it shrunk a little bit. It's not unwearable, but it's discernable. So, if you can tolerate a bit of shrinkage, go ahead and launder with regular clothes and dry completely in the dryer. If it fits perfectly before washing, you may want to try my method.

Thank you Fred Perry!
Being a rather husky person, I have had a difficult time tracking down Fred Perry polos that fit me and when I saw this shirt in XXL I was skeptical that it would actually fit. The sleeves are very short and snug around the seam so it really shows off my muscles but it feels a tad short on me. I could stand to lose a few pounds but I still feel confortable in my new shirt. I am very pleased to have actually found one in my size as I have always been a bit of a FP "label whore" Update. After a couple wash/ line drys the shirt is considerably shorter in length. It fits perfectly but barely reaches my waistline. Fred Perry should really look into lengthening this line a tad... at least for the XXL
