Great alternative to the huge plastic cone !
I liked this so much more than the big giant cones.Your pet can still eat and drink with it on . They will also be able to walk about the house with it on without knocking everything over or bumping in to things.

Works!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Does the trick better than a plastic cone and stopped my border collie from licking his elbow wound

Be careful!
Writing this review after using the collar for a little over a month: It is SO easy to poke a hole straight through the inner plastic ring when poking the hole in the pump attachment that's on the outside collar case. Remove the inner plastic ring before you do that part! The collar needs to be re-inflated once a week (as all inflatable things do), so keep the pump. Otherwise, this worked great on my 12 pound rat terrier after she had knee surgery. She was unable to bend enough to lick the stitches out of her leg, so I am very pleased with the product. She also was very comfortable sleeping in it, it was basically a wearable pillow for her. Note: If you do poke a hole in the inner plastic tube, you can patch it with a peice of duct tape. Just keep an eye on it. PS: My dog looked ADORABLE in her collar! Nice bonus :)

She chewed off the air plug
I like the inflatable e collar. It is soft and comfortable. It’s adjustable and affordable, and it comes with an air pump. The reason for the rating of only three stars is because, my dog was able to bite off the air plug, even though I pushed the plug in and flipped it over and placed it under her chin, so that she would not be able to chew on it. I was using it to keep her from removing her diaper, and for her up coming spaying. I purchased another, because I ordered the surgical suit, the e collar is for extra protection. This time I’ll watch her closely so as not to have her ruin another. My baby must be a magician, because she’s become and escape artist. She’s learned how to open her crate. Now I have to put a lock on it. Never underestimate the intelligence of a 1yr old pit bull.

Update:
Well, 6 days in, we woke up to find inner plastic pillow had deflated. While I was on Amazon attempting to get a replacement, the cat scratched open her sore, which had almost healed, leaving us back to square one. I inflated it and put it in a dishpan of water, and it appeared the leak was around the base of the valve.I happened to have a bag of pillow stuffing from a previous sewing project, so I stuffed the blue outer ring with that, which worked beautifully. Here is is days later, and the sore is 2/3 smaller. The cat, oddly seems to kind of like this device, as she does not fight me at all when I put it on her, and believe me, this cat is a fighter. I take it off a couple of times a day to check the sore and scratch all around her, which she loves. When I take it off, she immediately wants to groom her entire body, so I let her do that. So I still recommend this product, as it worked like nothing else, but I suggest having some pillow stuffing handy for the long term.

Works well quality was fine
I had none of the quality problems some reported. It has held up well and the dog tolerates it better than the cone of shame. If he was younger (more flexible) he cold probably still chew on his butt but this makes it difficult enough for him that he doesn't. I was worried that this would be really cheap since it is a fraction of what some of these cost but it wasn't and I suspect that the pricier ones are just the same product with a bigger markup.I will agree with comments that the pump is basically garbage. I mean it pumps but it would be ten times the work of just blowing it up. The ring uses a valve that you have to squeeze to open so that is true for blowing it up also. You kind of need to pinch it with your fingers or your teeth or blowing will be very difficult. The upside is it doesn't leak. They say to top it off every week but I haven't had to. After a few days after the first fill it needed a little more air but I haven't topped it off since and that was weeks ago.

Good product
This is a great product if your animal is having surgery such as neutering or spaying. Our dog was chewing on his paws so it didn't really help for that as he was able to reach those. However, he wasn't able to reach his elbows which had itchy patches or to scratch his ears with his paws. His seasonal allergies came on big this year and this inflatable E-collar really did help with those issues I described. Plus when he fell asleep it was very comfortable for him. The Velcro let us adjust the tightness around his neck perfectly. We are able to wash the cover and put it away till we need it again. We purchased a size large for a 76 lb. lab and the fit was great, he really didn't mind it after the first day at all and wore it for about two weeks when we weren't able to be with him.
