Fresh clean scent and lathers well
I have been using this cactus water shampoo for a while now. I enjoy the scent and my hair feels clean after washing. The shampoo lathers well, I do find it is necessary for moisturizing with this shampoo and use it alternately with the Hask Biotin shampoo and conditioner.

Discontinued
Hask Cactus Water, shampoo & conditioner was my favorite shampoo, the best I'd ever found for my hair in 2-3 decades. I'm still sulking that it was discontinued and I still haven't found a suitable replacement. Unfortunately, what's left of the cactus water for sale online is old...too old. Hask only uses natural preservatives so it doesn't stay 'fresh' as long as less conscientious brands. When the formula starts to break down the shampoo isn't clear anymore, rather its foggy and gray-yellow. I dk if it's bacteria or some sort of mold or whatever but I returned both bottles that I bought for that reason. It was a FABULOUS product in the day!...but it was discontinued 5 yrs ago so what's left is at least that old. I will be missing this shampoo for a long time :(

Hydrates well without weighing hair down, but causes some static
My super fine, straight hair is particularly prone to dryness and split ends during the winter, and as I near my 40s, I've begun noticing some brittleness too. Many products formulated to combat dryness end up weighing my hair down, but this one restores a surprising amount of moisture for the price without affecting volume, just as promised. It also adds shine and detangles quite well. It has a subtle, pleasant scent.Unfortunately, it also gives me issues with static that persist for at least several hours if not the rest of the day after use, which isn't a normal problem for me. I've tried following it up with various conditioners and masks, yet it still happens consistently. However, the shampoo works well enough as a pick-me-up during dry spells that I'm satisfied just using it on an as-needed basis. It does exactly what it claims to, hydrating and softening even the brittle sections so much that I don't notice them again for days.Normally, I would've tried the matching conditioner to see how they worked together, but I sadly wasn't able to find it. I didn't see any mention of it on Hask's website, so I'm not even certain it's still in production. I'll repurchase this shampoo as long as possible though, as I really like having it around for an occasional boost. The price is extremely reasonable too. A little goes a long way, and one bottle lasts for quite awhile!

Very very liquid compared to others scent/type of Hask shampoos
I really like HASKs products. I’ve used most of their shampoos/conditioners. This one is the most liquid one of all of them. It moisturize indeed but you have to be careful using it cause the amount you might need is crazy for long and full hairs

Helped my unruly hair
I ordered this because my hair is super long and it has been wanting to tangle. I felt it needed moisturizing. I was very pleased. My hair was easier to comb through and it was not as frizzy. I was pleased with the moisturizing that didn't make my hair flat. I wish it also came in conditioner.

5 years out of date
The media could not be loaded. The product arrived 5 years out of date and all the chemicals seperated, I don’t think it’s safe to use or worth the incredible mark up.
