The product failed, so did Asurion
I purchased a protection plan, not very expensive, for a product that, in the past, had failed every time I bought one, even from other stores. So I thought for a few dollars, why not protect it. These are the flexible garden hoses. So when the garden hose DID fail, I tried to contact Asurion by phone and by website. The website found my purchase initially, after entering "continue", it lost the product identity and I could not even find it after entering the exact description in the "find you product" section to which I was directed. I called them, the voice message directed me back to the website, no live person ever answered, and no option to talk with anyone. Thankfully, Amazon helped. Great customer service, I was offered a refund and they even sent a message to Asurion. In this case, Amazon gets an A+, Asurion, F-. This was just my experience, I hope others have had better.

Compared to SquareTrade Asurion's service was much less user friendly
I have filed a few claims over the years with SquareTrade. Today was my first Asurion claim. The interface was glitchy, they several things failed to load. The category search, which you have to complete to file a claim, was extremely long, and they did not have a category for my item. Once I submitted the claim, they said they need to speak with me, and asked me to call them. So now I have follow-up work. When I use SquareTrade, I hit submit on the claim, and a few hours later, I receive a reimbursement for the malfunctioning item. Asurion is a no go moving forward.

Asurion is not worth the money if it’s not going to do what it says and help the customer
Whenever I try to contact Asurion for help, I get an email reply that says did it still under the manufactures warranty even though it’s not. Asurion is not worth the money if it’s not going to do what it says and help the customer

Whats the use of purchasing if you cant use it
Tried to submit a claim and website stops the claim and says the manufacturers warranty should still be goot and provides number to contact manufacturer.Now I have left 3 messages for the manufacturer to call me back and have heard nothing. It is now on them to provide me a replacement. Its what I purchased! Or do you have me sit on broken product until it is no longer subject to manufacturer's warranty to replace? What the heck?

Sketchy
I purchased the Asurion protection plan and after having to search google to find Amazon as a retailer, filed the claim online and they told me it was with in the manufacture warranty ( it wasn’t) I had to chat with a rep via chat who asked the same questions over again, then they gave me a gift card towards Amazon purchase for failed product which is obviously a kickback scam on both their parts. I’m not happy with the protection plan or the process.

Did you expect your product to fail a week after I got it?
A robot asked me to rate my extended warranty purchase less that than a week after I received the product to which it applies. I have no basis to rate my warranty since the product, a 4-channel indoor-outdoor thermometer system with three wireless remote sensors, is currently operating within acceptable limits.As these types of system are cheap, (,<$30), full of low-bidder electronics, and routinely inaccurate, I do not expect it to maintain for very long what little accuracy it has. Thus the warranty purchase, one of which I seldom take advantage, ( i.e. get get duped into.)Regardless, was this an Amazon robot or one doing Asurion's bidding?I guess I'l give it one star in hopes I won't be pointlessly bothered again.(Yeah, right.)

Failing the customers
I have bought insurance on several items. Unfortunately, when I changed phones I lost several emails. Now I have no idea of what’s covered. There should be a place to go at Amazon to check on my insured items. It would also be nice if the email says what is being insured. No where was it given in any of the insurance emails I do have. Almost like something’s being hidden and hoped no one uses the insurance bought.

Worthless protection for anything
Worthless. Company would not fix my defective saw. Refused to pay shipping. Just gave back my purchase price . Now i have a defective saw that amazon wont honor this protection plan now so i will never purchase assurion again
