Apple MacBook Pro 13in Core i5 Retina 2.7GHz (MF840LL/A), 8GB Memory, 512GB Solid State Drive (Renewed)

Just received my MacBook Pro today and so far it is amazing. The charger I was given was the original the screen is in excellent shape. I do gotta say I did not receive the MacBook that I purchased but I received one better than ordered. One thing I do not like is the battery has almost 1000 cycles on it. Will update later on how the battery last ect.

This product shipped very quickly and arrived in a well-packeged box. The laptop was wrapped in protective foam and came with a charger. After unboxing, I found the laptop and charger to be in amazing condition for a used laptop for coming up 7 years now. There's very little cosmetic damage to the laptop (scratches, and used ports), but it is undeniable that a 7-year-old laptop doesn't have any scratches. After a week of use of the laptop, it is safe to say that I am getting close to the average time of battery life (6.5-7.5 hours), and with 255 cycles on the laptop (impressive). With the new update to Mac OS Monterey, the laptop still feels like a new laptop with only an intel dual-core I5, 8 GB/s of RAM, Intel Iris graphics 6100, and a 500 GB hard drive. If you buy a 2015 MacBook whether it is an early or mid-model, just go ahead and get the retina display. You would be selling yourself short, and you would not be getting the full experience that you want. Lastly, the overall quality and reliability of the laptop are again, still impressive for the age. Amazon did a really good job refurbishing it and bringing it back to life the best they could. I would say the early 2015,13 inch MacBook pro is still a very good laptop for the price and especially in today's inflation (US).

I have to admit, this is the largest purschase I have ever made on Amazon and it is for a used product. I've only bought two things before Amazon Renewed with one great and the other I had to return (non were computer). This review is really different for me because it is more of a review of the seller than the product itself because if the product is as advertised then I know it is a good product. I know that because this replaces an 11 yr old MacBook. A laptop that can last that long brings buyer loyalty.Now for the review. The MacBook looks virtually brand new. The only blemish is on the top of the screen that is a small scratch. It's not in the pixel area, but in the black-out area, so no problem for me at all. I've already loaded the newest OS and loaded my time machine from the old MacBook. Evertyhing is working great. The charger is not an Apple charger, but I already knew that would likely be the case.If anything changes I will update this review. At this time I'm super happy because this is Craigslist pricing that comes with a 90 day warranty and you don't have to worry about being robbed. I'm very happy at this time.

The laptop was great but after eight months the laptop stop working. :( the keyboard doesnt work anymore.

I received the MacBook Pro and began to work with it, noticing that the battery would not charge. Since there is a 90 day unconditional guarantee, I emailed the service department and followed their instructions to troubleshoot. It was soon obvious that there was a malfunction in the unit and I was instructed to send the unit back for either refurbishing or replacement. A packaging label was sent to my email.I sent the item back on a Friday. The company chose not to have me wait for it to be worked on, and the following Friday (within one week of sending it back), a replacement was delivered to me. I wrote back to the company saying "I just wanted to say “thank you” for all of the help that you provided as we worked out what we might could do about the replacement of the Mac that I received. Since the replacement arrived, I’ve been able to upgrade the software, migrate my HP, establish anti-viral software and set up a VPN. The Mac is completely integrated with my iPhone (a new experience), and it’s working well.Thank you, once again!"—George Pate

I originally ordered a similar Macbook Pro from a different vendor. What I received wasn't what I ordered. That being said, I returned it and purchased another from Kanga Supply. This time I received not only what I ordered but better! The condition of the unit is perfect. I challenge someone to determine that this Macbook isn't new. It fired right up and we were computing in minutes. I was able to install the most recent OS and it moves along quickly. Great retina display and love the backlit keyboard.Unless you are into heavy computing, I can't see spending more on a new unit. I bought this for my 10 year old son and he is thrilled!Great value and delivery from Kanga Supply. Love the Renewed Macbook Pro!

The computer arrived for the first package, and it was in a good condition externally. There was no damage, and everything seemed pretty new. However, the trackpad and half of the keyboard did not work. Just like the water damage, the right side did not work at all. so I sent it back to the company and received the 2nd package. Trackpad and keyboard work perfectly fine, with all the ports working great. But it has so many scratches and dents. Either way, now I am using this computer, and it is not a solid state drive, it was a 500GB flash drive. I don't know why but the "update" does not work on this computer, so I am kind of lost and trying to figure it out. The tech support definitely knows what they are doing and really appreciate being nice to provide the package in quick time fashion and willing to contact customers.
