Works amazing for color pencils!! Worth the buck.
These sheets are so amazing, takes alot of layering and pressure from color pencils especially. It is thick and smooth with not that much texture. Totally worth for the money. Good for beginners and also professionals. Overall this is too good. I am attaching few of color pencil drawings here for you to get an understanding.

Amazing paper for drawing, crayon and oil pastels.
I can say with confidence, Strathmore Bristol hot pressed paper is just superb! I used it for oil pastels work. The paper doesn't bend, and the pastels blend easily like butter on it. Previously, I have tried other cheaper priced paper brands, and now I know why one needs to pay extra for good quality. Sharing my first three practice pieces to show how beautifully the paper worked for my art.
