This is a fabulous product and it arrived timely and in perfect condition - thank you! I have ve never had any problems with discoloration or durability, that’s why I consider this a real quality product - it protects your paint job and gives a smooth (no gloss finish).

Best finish for the turkey calls I make
Great finish to apply after using Deft sanding sealer on the turkey calls I make. 2 hour dry time is nice. Easy to apply.

Item received is not item in listing
I specifically need 100% nitrocellulose for my project. The description indicates it is what I need. The item I received is not 100% nitrocellulose, there are 10 other items in this mix of liquid. Additionally the can has several dents which may compromise the bottom seal. I have submitted a report to the seller and await to hear for a resolution to the problem. UPDATE: The problem was resolved within 24 hours of my contacting the seller. I updated to 4 stars due to the item listing looks like a stock copy from the manufacturer, however the actual item received, while being similar and same manufacturer, is a different composition of ingredients.

Flows on easily with no brush marks. A light sanding and the second coat melts the sanding dust into the finish and makes a strong attractive finish. Do it in an open area because of the strong fumes. I finished the can already.

Beautiful Finish
I painted my melamine kitchen cabinets and used this as the finish coat. They came out beautifully! No brush strokes, and feels like glass. I have a large porch I could keep the cabinets in until the lacquer off gassing was done. Too much VOC to do inside. Excellent product!

Deft sealer replacement
Great sealer and clear finish. It's great to get a replacement sent quickly.

Good value, good product.
I have used Deft for the last 40 years or so. I have always liked lacquer for the fast dry time and ability to do multiple coats in a short time. I spray this product using a 3 to 1 ratio lacquer to lacquer thinner, and it sprays really well. I used Minwax lacquer for awhile until I rediscovered Deft. Deft is about 10$ a quart vs Minwax at about 15$. The choice is easy I get as good a finish with Deft as I do with Minwax.
