Landline phones are bloomin expensive so I went for this refurbished set. Really happy I did as I saved money and it works perfectly and looks brand new! Perfect sound too. Just an amazing phone!

Ring tone is good. Can't hear very well . Need to update to hands free to hers.

I needed a wireless phone handset in my upstairs room, the second unit copes with being away from the base unit despite having to travel almost vertically through several thick walls, so it's an excellent, strong broadcast signal. The build quality is very solid, I expect they'll last for a good few years to come, and the batteries are standard AAA rechargeable so if they start to conk out you can throw in some new ones and you'll be good to go.I was also concerned that the blue illumination would be on all the time - it isn't.The voicemail message is clear and easy to configure.The only minor gripe I have is that it doesn't seem to be storing previously dialed numbers by default. I'll have to have a dive into the manual, but really this should be on by default - it is on every other phone like this I've ever used.All things considered, this is an quality phone set at a remarkably reasonable price.

Have packed it all back in the box as I, and several others, cannot get the answering part of the telephone to work. Am now looking for a return address. What a pain.
