How does this lock and unlock?

Hello. This is a non-locking hitch pin

Time wise has it held up? rust? getting weak and allowing it come out by itself? would you buy again? how long have you had it?

1700 miles of towing on mine, owned for 6 months. Still love it, Spring is heavy and likely won't be junk in a year. No rust yet. I would buy this again in a second

What's the weight rating?

I do not the the weight rating but it is solid stainless steel. I have pulled a 6000 lbs boat with it. There is not any crushed spots or stress fractures on it from the boat. So I would say it is rated for a lot of lbs.
