This works great on my 98 Tacoma 4x4 Extended Cab rear driveshaft at the rear axle. Moog website also indicates this works for the rear driveshaft at transmission, as well as both u-joints on the front driveshaft. Check Moog website to be sure. I'm ordering another for my rear driveshaft at trans. This cured my horrible vibes while driving, but I feel the other should be replaced too. Should be smooth after that. The hard part about install is removing the old u-joint. I propped the yolk on a 2x4 and used a sledgehammer dropped straight down onto a socket on the bearing cup. Grab the bearing cup in a vise when it comes out far enough. Watch a few youtube videos first.

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE OF 3 MILLIMETERS, DIFFERENT SIZE FROM THE ORIGINAL TOYOTA PART, ALSO JUST FOUND OUT, A MONTH A 10 DAYS PASSED AND CAN'T RETURN IT.
