Like most reviews state, this shoe is snug in the ankle. It doesn’t just slip on which if you are hiking or anything of that nature it’s probably a good feature to have. It fits very well in the foot with a little wiggle room for your piggy’s. I’ve only had them a day and a half, but walked in them while I was trying to complete my steps for the day to break them in and my feet didn’t hurt afterwards. If I decide I don’t like the tight ankle I might try the original Chelsea boot style and see how it compares, but for now I don’t mind the snugness around the ankle so much because I plan on using these for multiple purposes and I think I want it a little snug for hiking. I’ve also seen where some people have bought a gadget that will stretch it out a bit so it’s not quite so tight, so that’s an option too.

I like the comfort and look of these. They were great for my Iceland/Ireland trip, but I had a tough time getting them on and my husband had to pull them off every night. Very tight in the ankle area.

My first pair of Blunstone I took my time purchasing because of reviews, some said they run big others say they run small it was all over the place I'm a size 6 and most shoes I purchase online are always a lot bigger than the size ordered. So, I was a bit hesitant anyways I just ordered the American size 6 which is the Australian size 3. And they fit perfect, that being said I had quite the time getting them on because of the ankle width it is tight and trying to get your foot in through there is difficult, once my foot was in the boot, they were comfortable and not a heavy boot at all. I stretched the ankle part a bit and with time they will become more flexible but that is something to know when buying this style boot. At first, I would recommend not wearing thick socks until they stretch out a bit. The toe section is roomy I am happy with this purchase.

These fit true to size for me. They definitely take several wears to break in, so I recommend planning for that time. I have very high arches, so I put a slim insert in them for extra support. Now that I have broken them in, I can easily walk for miles/hours in these without issue. They do take a bit of muscle to get off after a long day and my feet have swollen in the heat, but it gets easier once they are broken in. They look professional enough to wear into the office, but are sturdy enough to get out in the field and tramp around. I love these boots and I get questions and compliments about them all the time. I highly recommend these to anyone that needs a sturdy work boot. Well worth the investment!

I ended up returning the boots I got on Amazon because my BF bought the wrong size. I have since bought two pairs of these women's boots and I found that I fit a size 7. Okay, before reading any further, you need to understand that Blunstones are sized waaaay differently than normal shoes. I usually wear a women's size 10 in US sized sneakers. SO order 3 sizes down! Also, Blunstones half sizes do not mean a half size longer, it means they are wider. So if you are in between sizes, go up. If you have wide feet, get a half size up. I have very narrow feet and when I initially tried them on, they felt waaay too big. THE BEST TRICK is to put in double inserts to make the shoes fit better. I went to Walmart and bought some memory foam insoles and then put the Blunstone insoles on top. After that, they fit AMAZING and I wear my boots everywhere.I broke my boots in while backpacking in Europe and they were a blessing. Completely waterproof (I did spray some waterproofing prior to traveling) and they hold up to everything! Everyone should own a pair of these as they are so versatile. I wear mine to the office, hiking, on vacation, camping, hunting, while doing yardwork, to the bar etc. I know people who have had their Blundstones for years and they have nothing but great things to say about them! 5 stars, just buy them already!!

Thought these were brown as the color was described but appear like a dark gray in person, I guess it will change with wear. Take a while to break in but very warm and comfortable.

Wore these on vacation in Ireland, they were great for the wet weather. Light weight and comfortable! They still look brand new after lots of use!

I think these are cute but had a hard time putting them on but even worse time getting them off! Unless I sleep in them they’re too much trouble. Sending back. Nice leather and look through.

I love the boots fit very well, I’m a size 8-81/2 ordered a size 9 perfect fit. Colour was exactly what I hoped for. They are extremely comfortable and I have difficulty finding comfortable boots and shoes due to bunions. Good purchase very happy!

I returned the boots because they didn’t fit

Love these boots. I typically wear a 7.5 in runners but sized up to an 8 which gives me plenty of room for thicker socks but also works well with regular socks. I have no issues getting my feet in or out of the boots either which is something I took into consideration when going half a size up given the reviews I read.
