Awesome product. My wife won't let me use our chiminea without it and for good reason. Makes it so much safer. I like how the edges are hand cut. It helps keep a snug fit. Great product idea.

Functional, but not worth the money
First, to be fair, it does what it's supposed to do. Now, this is nothing more than a very crudely cut 6" circle of wire mess. You could buy a sheet of this stuff at your local hardware or home improvement store for much less than half the cost, and cut it yourself. Even the packaging is crude. Just a plain plastic bag with some instructions printed on it. (Not that anyone really needs instructions for this) My 6 year old niece could have done a better job cutting this wire as well as better packaging to make you at least feel like you didn't just get ripped off.

Simple installation
It works and I didn't have make it. I used a large canister to push it up level. Instructions included.

Not fit for purpose
The screen is too finely spaced. After one fire, the screen is now fully clogged with soot. Now I’m faced with the task of removing a soot-encrusted disc from my chiminea. This item is simply not fit for its purpose.

If Someone's Blowing Smoke...
Try one of these to make sure there are no sparks

Way to thin.
After one fire, it already needs to be replaced. It’s just to thin.

Too fine; don't buy
This soots up in a matter of minutes. The fact is, chimineas run much better without spark arrestors. Smooth flow up the chimney is the whole point. As long as it's ~10' or so from combustibles, a spark or two isn't going to cause problems since it will have plenty of chance to cool off. If your spark arrestor gets the least bit clogged -- which it will -- you'll have considerable smoke coming out the front of your chiminea.
