Can you use this safety in a 36’ wooden barn? Do you put it on the south side or the west (hot) side? It would have to be solar only.

This fan is safe to use just about any where, barn, shed, greenhouse etc, The fan will exhaust the hot air out. The solar panel can be placed any where it gets the most sun, on a roof, on a pole, or attach it to a wall. my solar panel does best lying flat, facing up, it catches sun all day.

I bought this fan a while ago and just installed it, I noticed the picture shows 7 blades but I only have 5, and there is no box base for the fan?

We update our products in order to provide the best products to customers. Since you purchased a while ago, I'm afraid that the item you purchased is not 7 blades.

I really like the fan assembly, can I purchase the fan by itself? I already have a power source.

For safety and long-term use It is recommended that you buy this fan set directly

What are dimensions of the square fan base? What size louver will work with the fan?

Base dimensions for square fans are: 16 3/8 x 16 3/8 in (415x415 mm) 14 1/2 in diameter louvers can be used with fans
