Great watch for the money.
This watch is beautiful made, with a great dial and beautiful applied indices. The domed hardlex crystal is a nice touch, although a double domed sapphire crystal would have been nice. The real selling point is the dial. It's absolutely gorges. Like the Alpinist I find myself staring at it when I go to check the time. It changes drastically based on the lighting conditions from a soft creme to almost white. Pictures just don't do it justice. The hands and indicies contrast nicely with the dial, and I love the little touches like the painted tip on the power reserve hand, and the darker seconds hand. The watch is a touch bigger than the Seiko Alpinist; however, unlike the Alpinist the included strap is quite nice, especially with its signed deployant clasp. The watch has a see-through case back, although with how little the movement is decorated I don't really know why. A nice signed caseback I thing would have been more fitting. The crown is signed with a nice simple S. It's a touch heavy at 83g, but not so much so that you notice it.

Good value, wish the glass was sapphire
Great value for the money. Build quality is excellent. Looks great and is very accurate. My only complaint is that the glass should be sapphire and not hardlex. Hardlex reflects light strangely and is easy to scratch.

Great watch that meets or exceeds expectations
Beautiful watch. I had a Tissot before this and this watch exceeds it by a good margin. The workmanship is first class.

Old School Style.
Just a beautiful looking watch.

Not very accurate
Beautiful watch, but considering the price, I would expect it to be much more accurate. I set it to the atomic time clock in Boulder, Colorado. Checked it 2 days later and it was 45 seconds fast. Should be much better than that.
