Migrare Diversitech S6000 Swaging Tools 6 Piece Set, Black

Been in HVAC for 24 years and have made a few braze joints in my life. Finally bought this set to try, and I really like it. It calls for a drill with 1800 RPM, played around with a couple of different RPM drills. Lower RPM drills just will not do it, 1800 RPM drill is minimum. Found it did it’s best at 2200 RPM, the more I use it the more I like it.

You gotta be careful and use common sense. If your drill doesn’t do 2,000 rpm the swage ends up looking like crap. Also watch the shavings always flair upward. Even then double check. And it gets HOT. Idk if it’s worth the price, a little more dough and you can get a hydraulic swager but it is quite compact and great for when your in a pinch.

Literally just got it in mail today. Was excited to test it out. Grabbed my Milwaukee fuel Drill, opened up the box of the swage kit, set aside the directions and grabbed the 3/4" swage and went straight to business. This was very first "try" and it took less than 10 seconds. I think I'm sold. Though I can't attest to the products longevity, I will say that in the right hands this swage tool can be a huge time saver and was well worth the wait. I look forward to buying and putting to work they're flare tool as well. I'm in the hvac trade. This swage product will definitely have a place in my tool bag!

They work perfect. I don’t how many times these gotten me out of a jam.

Stop playing with added couplings. Adding extra parts to your plumbing or pressure lines in any case air or liquid only makes that much more probability of uncertainty for any leak. This product is ideal for that project or repair. It's a bit much but it's that much more in piece of mind knowing it is done very well with an inch of sleeve to place your weld into. Quick and secure installation is definitely made. 5 star awesome

These are excellent for refrigeration connections and preventing extra joints for possible leaks.

There is a learning curve to keeping the tubing correctly centered while spinning in the new i d. I would recommend using this tool before putting bends in the tube. This tool saves alot of time and labor!
