MacBook and charger came in boxes and in very safe condition. My MacBook is beautiful and it doesn't get hot. It was very easy to set up aswell as the speed being not bad for a 2018 MacBook. Worth the money and the screen quality is really good but the keyboard screen quality isn't that good but it's fine.

The device has multiple serious issues that were not properly disclosed. There are many permanent cosmetic defects, including noticeable scratches and permanent discoloration. It appears that stickers were used to cover and hide some of these damages. The battery life is extremely poor and does not last for a reasonable amount of time. The device also becomes very hot during use and the fan runs extremely loud. After only a short period of use, purple dots and lines begin appearing on the screen, indicating a likely display failure. Overall, the condition of the device is far worse than expected and not acceptable. I have also had significant difficulty trying to contact the seller to resolve the issue or obtain a refund.

So far so good! Laptop came in pretty quick, great secure packing and seems to be working good so far. My only complaint is that they should be cleaned a bit more before sending out and that the owner before me made quite the scratch marks. But for the price and the size, this was a great quality buy! Great job.

When it arrived, the MacBook was very well packed! This is my third Renewed Mac from Amazon. So I do know that there are going to be some minor defects or issues. That being said….honestly, I was impressed! It’s almost like new…with a small problem. When I went to remove the sticker on the laptop,(it had a sticker for inventory I’m assuming) the whole sticker and back portion of the screen aluminum side started to peel. Now, I did wonder why it felt a bit different than my other macs….and this was why. I really don’t think the seller did this on purpose, rather it was done by the original owner? To be fair, it was well done, almost didn’t notice it, until I started to remove the inventory sticker. Still not a deal breaker. Underneath was one scratch, most likely from normal use. It’s not a big deal, nor does it affect the how it functions. The MacBook is running in the latest OS, which I downloaded with no issue and also installed all my necessary programs with no problems! I do have a program that does bog it down sometimes, but I really feel that it’s how I’m using it not the MacBook. My only concern is the battery. Seems to die rather quickly for a Mac. But again, it’s mainly used at home for my music programs…and it’s very easy to switch out an old battery or memory on these machines (hint hint). The screen is perfect, no blemishes or scratches. And the keys show the tinniest wear, again, not a big deal. It did come with a new charger and cable! Brand new Apple charger! A big win! The last ones I bought came with aftermarket chargers and cables. Like I said, small minimal blemishes that really don’t affect performance and it looks amazing! I also did add a protective cover…Smokey gray! And it looks very elegant! Update! Still working just as well as the day I bought it! Worth every penny!😃😃😃

I’ve owned multiple MacBooks with the allegedly notorious butterfly keyboard switches; both the 13 inch and 15 inch models. I must mention that I’ve never had problems with jamming, the keys eventually breaking, repeated key input, etc. Perhaps that’s because I also purchased a keyboard cover and case for them. Anyway, as for the rest of the hardware: Apple is lagging behind in screen, with their competition using 4K resolution as a standard. I look at the screens on all the MacBook sizes, and the difference in resolution (when next to 4K Windows laptops) is significant. Maybe this was intentional as high resolution screens are among the main energy drainers in laptops and Apple intends to have reasonable battery life. The speakers in these MacBooks are still top notch. They are (way) ahead in sound quality. I wish Apple partnered with NVIDIA with (e)GPU compatibility like before with the 1xxx cards and macOS High Sierra. That is no longer the case with their most recent RTX 2xxx video cards and macOS Mojave or later. Although AMD cards lead in price to performance ratio, there are some things that you can only use in NVIDIA cards like CUDA cores, and some apps/games with ray tracing. Touch Bar? I’m a software engineer, and I’d much rather have physical function keys. It does look nice and attracts attention when you’re out there looking to test and buy a MacBook Pro in the Apple store. As someone experienced in building hardware and repairing my own computers if they break, the MacBooks disappoint. The non-retina MacBooks from 2012 were the last of its kind that allow battery RAM/SSD replacements. This is the biggest letdown for me. I don’t think Steve would take part in the non-modularity of modern MacBooks. The MacBooks of the past were both pioneers of design and engineering. Now it’s just the former. Touch ID is a nice touch, pun intended. If Touch ID makes a return in the latest iOS devices, as a screen-embedded feature, then great. I find it more convenient to use compared to Face ID. Despite the MacBook’s downfalls, it is still a laptop to consider for professionals. Booting with multiple OS and Xcode are the main reasons I stick to MacBooks.

As someone doing more work from home due to the quarantine, I was in need of a new computer. I was all set to by my first personal MacBook Pro. As someone who works in the graphics industry, having good graphics and processor power in my computer was something important to me, so I knew a MacBook Air wasn't going to cut it. I was astonished at how much more a MacBook pro was compared to even an iMac. So I decided to shop around for refurbs. I didn't even dream of looking on Amazon, but I'm glad I did. I ended up with 15" i7 2018 touchbar model, and man this thing was in great shape. I waited a month or so before writing this review to make sure nothing popped up all of a sudden. Visually it looked brand new. I did not receive original packaging but the machine itself was clean. I had read about some people having a few problems in the reviews, so I was sure to put it through it's paces all while keeping a watchful eye on the CPU load, and I'm really impressed with the power I'm getting from something so small and thin. Every single spec was exactly as described, nothing was bait and switch here. The only hint that the machine was used, was the battery having aprox. 90 or so cycles on it, but as far as I'm concerned it's just getting started, so to save almost $1,000 off original price when new, I'm ok with it. I would definitely buy again

I have seen some pretty bad reviews about it not being a properly refurbished and how there was usually that there was a crack in the track pad but I got lucky and I didn’t see anything like that but what I did see was a little dent on the side and some very minor damage. Was is somewhat disappointing and time wasting is that it’s not updated so you have to waste 30-40 minutes updating it . I just want to say something you have to remember that these are refurbished and buying refurbished stuff is somewhat a 50-50 chance that you’re gonna get a really good quality. Yes I may be a few dents they didn’t catch and I can’t really back up the crack in the trackpad because you should be able to see that before sending it but also since he’s a refurbished people send them in and possibly the worst condition ever so at least it didn’t come in the box and thousands of tiny pieces but honestly it’s kind of good it’s just that I didn’t like the fact that I had to take some time to update the computer. Everything is really good. I did a comparison from a refurbished Windows and the refurbished a MacBook and honestly the MacBook ran better. It ran a lot faster and forgetting all the cracks and all that stuff is pretty good, but something I really don’t like especially as a student using it is that the the The capitalization key you have to hit it multiple times for it to actually activate as you can see in the video. Overall it’s pretty good just if you’re using it as like a computer coder you might not ,like sometimes the trackpad will not respond properly, which I am not a big fan of as someone who has you like a little bit of fast clicking I find this kind of ridiculous because you don’t hear it click so it kind of like sets me off so then I end up double clicking or triple clicking it’s just not that good. I know that this is just a design flaw on Apple‘s part but there’s not enough space on the back wall not really enough space but there’s not enough air vents so intense to overheat but overall pretty good!

Amazon's certified refurbished program is neither certified or refurbished by Amazon. As a result, customer service issues get routed through their "A-to-Z" guarantee, delaying any and all action that can be taken to fix problems. The refurbished MacBook I purchased had faulty hardware, however, it took me months before I could confirm it. I went back and forth with Apple support, purchasing different types of usb-c Hubs, using different networks, factory resets, additional troubleshooting, using different devices on the same networks to confirm, back and forth with customer service, and more. I requested a refund. They required I pay for return shipping. I did at a cost of $67. It was delivered three weeks ago. I not have I received the refund. Two weeks ago I opened an "A-to-Z" claim with Amazon, being told I needed to wait 14 days to receive word back. This is already a week after the seller received the item and two weeks after they agreed to the refund. 14 days later, I contact customer service again only to be told they meant 14 business days, or 20 days instead. Now I am on the hook to wait again. I am out $1700, not in possession of the item, and have been toiling for three months trying to figure this out. I finally got fed up and went to Best Buy to get a new MacBook. It works perfectly right out of the box. By trying to save $500 I ended up costing myself much more. According to the certified tracking I paid for when shipping the item back, the seller has had the item in their possession for 30 days. I still have not been refunded.

I’m really happy with my purchase! The MacBook Pro works great and runs smoothly everything has been working perfectly so far and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The seller was also amazing to deal with. I had a small issue with a 1-day shipping delay, and they responded very quickly and were very kind about it. They even refunded my shipping cost, which I really appreciated. Great customer service and a great buying experience overall. I’d definitely recommend this seller!

Lo considero asi porque llego estéticamente excelente, rendimiento muy bien, yo no tuve problema pues trae un cargador genérico, llego dentro del tiempo que se decia que posiblemente iba a llegar todo excelente

They substituted my order with a 2019 model and an I9 processor. It looks perfect and seems to be working well. My only concern was the way it was packaged as it was flopping around loose in the box. A bit of packing would have been less concerning. It did have bubble wrap around it.
