Best Pump Ever
I bought another pump here on Amazon that just did not work.... the other one I was using in a self-rescue class and it was working so badly that the instructor handed me his.... and it was this one. I went straight home and found it on Amazon. Since then I have been paddling with other sea kayaker who have seen it and mentioned this is the best pump you can buy... If you are looking for a good pump that pump a lot of water out quick and easy buy this!

Charged for returning product
Product was larger/heavier than expected. Ordered at night and quickly canceled the return. Was told that since it was later than 1 hour past cancelation they shipped. Even though order was made at night and so was cancelation -- long before the business day. Was charged over $5 to return. Please be sure this is what you want before ordering.

Good quality and superior performance
I bought this as a thank you gift. Have had mine for years- pumps really well and feels quality- it works well. No hose- water spurts out a foot or more. I have another brand pump that occasionally sticks a bit- this is my go-to pump. Costs almost double other pumps but if you use it alot and like quality, its worth it.

It Does The Job!!
It’s the perfect size for our kayak!!! It’s a great pump and I’m glad it floats, you won’t be disappointed. I haven’t needed it too much, but it’s great to know I have it and it works. Quality construction.

Fast and efficient
I’ve had a pump just like this for many years. When a surprised Manatee almost swamped my kayak this little pump worked fast and efficiently to get me dry. That’s why I bought a second one for my sister.

Most popular kayak pump
This is a vital piece of equipment for your sea kayak. It is light weight, compact and very efficient. Also, you can purchase a pair of Beckson nylon clips and mount the pump under the fore deck where it is out of the way, but very handy if needed in a hurry.

No float
Beckson's are supposed to be good, but the pump action is extremely stiff and there was no float. Not the best pump.

Great pump, longer than 18"
A bit smoother and easier to pump than other pumps. The description says it is 18". Its longer. I suspect the barrel is 18 inches.
