Sparkfoam Sword 39" Foam Samurai Sword Black/White Handle w/Wood Scabbard

Looks great, lightweight, seems durable enough (it is made of plastic). Worked great for Halloween.

This prop sword is excellent for cosplay, and well worth its cost. That being said, describing it as being made of "foam" is very misleading. Due to it being advertised as being made of foam, I purchased it for a LARP in which I intended to be able to use it for very minimal combat/contact with other players. It's simply not safe enough for that. The beauty of it is that it is virtually identical in dimensions to an actual sword, but it would not be safe enough to be swung at or make contact with another person without potentially hurting them. Additionally, the blade is not as firm as some others have described. While it is made of hard plastic, it definitely has a "floppiness," and if you swung it too hard, I imagine it might snap off at the hilt. So if you just want to wear a realistic-looking prop sword for cosplay, don't hesitate to buy it. But if you want to use it for anything more than that, I'd choose something else.

It is a nice prop. However the description is pretty misleading, the core itself is made of foam, however the blade itself is made of vinyl and would definitely hurt If someone is hit with it. However the blade is pretty flimsy and does not feel very sturdy. However I do say that the blade and scabbard are very pretty and nice to look at, so a cosplay/costume piece or a prop, definitely 5/5. However as something to combat LARP with, I do not recommend this as if swung hard enough, I'm sure it will cut you. Overall I'm not entirely satisfied but still will enjoy my purchase, for kids it's nice, though maybe just get a wooden replica.

The sheath is sturdy wood, and the sword is a good length and not heavy. Great for cosplay.

Blade is extremely weak, and will bend with every movement. Assembled parts don't hold together tight. Delivery was on time, so no problem with service. This would be ok for a 6 to 10 yr old, but they'd break it in a day.

Perfect prop! It’s lightweight and sturdy and for a great price.

some small blemishes , but weight and feel is good . perfect for cosplay. sword fits well in case but a little loose will slip out .

Blade is very flimsy and is be scared it use it for blocking a direct hit (LARP)
