Good analog camera.
Works well, got it to replace a failed one that was only working in black and white after about 5 years.

The Winner (with one caveat)
Short story: Outstanding Long story Background: I started out with an 8-channel Zmodo DVR kit. The picture quality looked fine but I had nothing to compare it to. Later I upgraded the DVR section to a 16-channel DVR but with the original 8-cameras knowing I was going to expand the system in the future. After seeing so many customer photos of other DVR's I knew that the Zmodo had a low-quality picture so I purchased an Anran DVR and wow, what a miraculous improvement! It was like going from VHS to DVD all over again! Though the original cameras looked better, I was still dissatisfied. I began purchasing new cameras as upgrades with some pretty good improvements. But when I finally tried these Zosi 800TVL 960H cameras, I was astounded at the picture quality. Colors were accurately saturated, contrast was good, and the resolution seemed to match up with the Anran DVR very, very well. There is no mosquito noise in the system from low-light conditions either, which I definitely see on my remaining Zmodo cameras. Since the first Zosi camera, I have purchased 3 additional ones and have plans to purchase 5 more to complete the upgrades and expand the system as far as I want it. To be clear, I have purchased one of these white domes, a black dome, and a black bullet camera. All seem to have identical sensors, just different form factors and IR arrangements. These are so good, I might even replace some of my previously upgraded cameras. I was suspicious of the cost of the cameras, since most of the "good" cameras go for $30 or more (including 3 that I purchased before any of the Zosi cams), but these are shockingly good. Much better than my $30-$45 cameras. UPDATE: There is one flaw with this camera. If you angle the camera ball too close to 90° (90° means facing "straight out" instead of "straight down", 0°), the IR LED's will reflect off of the inside of the containment shroud back into the camera sensor which creates bright halos that complete drown out the image at night. I don't know if all dome cameras do that so I can't necessarily dock my rating of this one. Just wanted to make everyone aware of this limitation depending on how they intend to set the viewing angle. I'm simply going to use this camera in another location that faces more downward instead of outward and use a bullet camera in the location I need to "face outward". I suppose as an improvement, Zosi could coat the inside of the containment shroud with an IR absorbing material instead of an IR reflective material, but then the cost probably wouldn't be so spectacular at that point. Although, I could probably tackle that pretty easily as well. Maybe I'll try that and get back to you guys with another update.

Poor Customer service
I got this 4k, 16 channel w/12 8mp camera system on prime day at a great deal. Everything arrived on time and well packaged. I tested the product before fully installing, and immediately found that 3 channels on the NVR were not working. I tested all of the cameras and ethernet cables on every channel and the cameras all worked, EXCEPT on the same 3 channels. Deeming those channels were dead, since no power was received or transmitted through them. I then re-packaged everything expecting a quick exchange for a fully operational system. I initially emailed customer support with no response. I then contacted them via phone and after an hour or so I got a call back, which was cut off a couple of minutes into the call. I didn’t get a return call so after a couple of hours I again called to get on the call waitlist. By the time I got a call back I was no longer at work (where the camera system was to be installed). I again explained the problem and re-iterated the trouble shooting I had already done to identify the sole problem (NVR w/3 dead channels). They requested pictures and gave me a number where I could text them directly but could not call them. The following morning, I went to work early so that I could unpack everything and set it up so that I could take the requested pictures and text them. The initial responses were instant with statements of the obvious “3 channels don’t have power going to them” Have you tried different cables?”. They also suggested some trouble shooting techniques which had already done and told them twice the previous day I had already done. This went on for a few hours, with the last text reading that they were going to escalate my case to the next level. I asked them why they couldn’t send me a replacement NVR and got no response. The following day I got a voicemail to text them so that we can try some more trouble shooting, unfortunately I was already off from work so I did it first thing the next day. They say third time is a charm, right? Well, it wasn’t, I again unpackaged the system and called them for some more trouble shooting. I had to again explain the issue, which at this point is ridiculous. You have an open ticket for this case with notes, why do I have to start over every time I call? Well thankfully the troubleshoot only took about 20 minutes this time. Get this they asked me to try different ethernet cables and cameras on the dead channels and to try connecting the NVR on a different wall outlet. WOW! is all I can say to that. After the troubleshoot I was told my case was being escalated to the next level for a replacement NVR. They even took down my shipping address, email and told me They’d contact me the following day. After no contact from them for 2 days I initiated a return through Amazon for a refund, which was hassle free and painless. Because of the weekend the product took about a week to arrive and a couple of days later I had my refund. THANK YOU, Amazon. I had the system for 8 days and kept getting the run around without getting the easiest fix from Zosi (exchange the faulty NVR) and it’s been 2 weeks since I was told my case was escalated to the highest level and would get a call the following day, which I haven’t received. I personally believe it’s their plan to give you the run around to the point where the warranty or return time frame expires and you’re stuck. It’s sad, because the quality of the cameras and ease of setup was great, but if customer support can’t fix the easiest of problems, what’s going to happen when a bigger issue arises? I am glad that I didn’t wait on Zosi because I’d be stuck with a nonoperational system, and I can’t praise Amazon enough for the way they do and take care of business and their clients. Yes I’m out a great deal but I’m sure another will come by soon and luckily this was going to be an upgrade to our existing system, so for the time being I’ll stick with the old system.

Resolution is not very good.
The daylight resolution is OK but the infrared (night) resolution is poor.

Overall good system
I have had this 8 camera system up and running for almost a year now. Cold winters and hot summers. Picture quality is very good, night vision is better than I expected. I did put a 1TB hard drive in it, and with 8 camera, it only stores 2 weeks of video. I would say a 4 TB hard drive would be recommended for people who are away from home for long periods of time. I like being able to sign in online and see my camera feeds from anywhere. I did notice that 1 of my cameras night vision is not working now, and this could be because it is the camera that is exposed to the highest winds and direct rain, snow, and hail. Overall this is a great system. It does need to be restated once in awhile, especially if there is a power outage. I will replace the 1 camera, because I am more than satisfied with the quality of Zosi.

Ok so I only just got this camera and I have not tested it longer than 15min that is why only 4 stars and not 5. I have a night owl system. The cameras keep breaking (go all pixely). Now Night Owl will replace them within the warranty period, but missing that window (or just cause they seriously are constantly needing replacing to have a clear picture) I went up to amazon and saw this really cheap camera. It was cheap enough I was like, what the heck let me try it. Its clear and crisp and plugged right into the night owl system. I will be buying a 8 camera receiver with these cameras and replacing the entire Night Owl system if this camera continues to work like it is. I tried this out cause with this price why not, and because of the quality Im sold.
