J.S. Bach For Fingerstyle Ukulele

Great book, but I don't like tablature. Reason: It makes it so you have to turn pages 2.5 times as often, but doesn't really add any new information about the music.

This is a great intermediate to advanced level book for those who can read standard tab notation. But definitely not for beginners or people who need chord diagrams. But it's always good to have something to work towards...

I gave this five stars because my music teacher has an advanced student who can get a lot out of it. It's way over my head! I am in the late beginner level.

I learned ukulele basics using the Hal Leonard series and so when I decided to focus on learning fingerstyle I was glad to see this collection of Bach pieces developed specifically for the instrument. But I'm really, really disappointed in the Kindle version.Clearly just developed as an afterthought, the tabs are damn near impossible to follow as they are just images that must be tapped and enlarged on any device smaller than a laptop screen. At that point you can only see about two measures at once, and that means pausing frequently to (carefully) drag the image over to the next two measures. So forget about sight reading the tabs on a smartphone or iPad Mini.Finger positioning is not included in the tabs. You're on your own to figure that out. So the book is probably for more experienced fingerstyle players. But it does slow things down even more as I untangle my fingers. Some may say, that's the price you gotta pay to get better. But nah. Ukulele is supposed to be fun, Hal.In its physical form this is probably all right but there should never have been a Kindle version.

Probably need a full sized iPad.

Habe mich sehr auf die Stücke gefreut, aber die Fingersätze lassen das Instrument nicht wirklich klingen.Kann natürlich ein subjektives Problem sein, aber bei Transkriptionen von John King, Tonny Mizen oder Samantha Muir habe ich dieses Gefühl nicht, da sie versucht haben den Campanella Stil einzusetzen.

Easy to follow, 3/15 songs require a low g string. I like that it includes both standard notation and tabs as I’m still learning to read sheet music.

Muy buen libro, excelentes transcripciones, todo es claro y trae las digitaciones, además la tablatura ayuda a entender mejor la partitura . El envío llegó a tiempo y en excelente estado
