is this true 2x2 measure???

I bought them a couple of times. They measure exactly 2x2x6 1/8

Anywhere i might be able to find this is 2” x 2” x 8 ft ? thanks!

The best place to look is online. Use Google search to find hardwood stores nearest to you, even if one is your state is an hour or two away they're worth it. They're more likely to have 2" x 2" x 8' blanks in domestic hardwoods like walnut than a store like Rockler and cheaper as well. Most have a selection of exotic hardwoods too. There's a hardwoods store an hour and a half from me that has an awesome selection of domestic and exotic hardwoods, machinery, blades, bits, hardware and finishes. I paid $5.60 a bd ft for select grade walnut last time I was in there and less than $10 a bd ft for padauk. You'll be able to pick out your own lumber and avoid the high shipping cost of 8' long pieces as well.

Do they come in 8 ft can I use the to frame a floor with to a shed?

Try Windsor Plywood either in your local store (if you have one) or on-line. They have a great selection of exoyic hardwoods.

Good but do research first

The wood itself was excellent. Tolerance was tight, all specified sizes. Beautiful grain and turned nicely on the lathe. However, upon working with this wood, I discovered I was allergic to black walnut. Caused a bad allergic reaction from the oils in the wood. Just be aware some individuals may suffer from an allergy to Juglone

Perfect dimensions

I ordered this set to make ring boxes with a recess jig. The wood grain and color was perfect. The directions were spot on. No warping or bends at all. The wood held up extremely well to the drill press and router process. The boxes came out incredible and really pop with some furniture butter.

These blanks are great

I've been buying these blanks for a while now, in walnut, cherry, padauk, mahogany and others. They are "pricey" but I don't have a thickness planer or a jointer, for me the fact that they are really well milled is the value I pay for. Also they are the right size for the stuff Im making. No knots, very nice grain, they are perfectly square on all sides. Usually one of the 4 sides has a bit of a rough finish, but it's quickly fixed with a couple of passes with a hand plane. All in all a good buy.

Very nice clean veneer hardwood. Great for making hobby projects. Just note not a perfect 2". It's about 1 15/16"
