Xtra-Comfort Leg Elevation Pillow for Sleeping, Swelling, Post Surgery - Memory Foam Bed Wedge Pillow- Support Cushion for Pregnancy, Leg, Foot Rest

I just got a meniscus knee surgery and was looking for a pillow as I need to keep my knee and foot higher than my heart when I sleep. I’m really glad I got this pillow, it’s been incredibly useful. Although it does keep my leg slightly bent, for the first week after surgery I couldn’t straighten my leg anyway so it was perfect. From now on I’ll add an additional regular pillow on top of it at the far end to lift my ankle higher which will help straighten my leg out. This pillow will still provide support under my thigh which is great. It’s firm but not too hard, it’s comfortable, the cover is very soft, it’s both easy to move (not too heavy) and stays put thanks to its tiny rubber ball texture on the bottom. It’s well made and didn’t have any off-gassing or chemical smells that I noticed. The foam feels good quality. I’m really happy with this pillow and would definitely recommend it. Before I got this pillow I combined a triangle wedge pillow with a folded pillow to get the height and comfort I needed for my lower back. This single pillow provides the height, angle, and length to provide relief. I am a little under six feet tall, and my feet do stick a little over the end, but I find that it works out for the best with bed sheets over the top. The sheets don't cram my toes if my feet are hanging over the end. It is recommended that the pillow be aired out for a half a day to remove any smell. I did this, but I couldn't detect any strong odor. It also takes that half a day to get it to return to its original shape. It comes crammed into a cylinder carrying case. It looks like the carrying case can be re-used to transport the pillow. However, good luck getting the pillow back into the carrying case. Also, the handles easily rip off, which happened to me when I was trying to extract the pillow. I didn't buy the pillow for its carrying case. So, it is not an issue for me. Overall, I am very glad I made the purchase.

I am so happy a friend told me to get this for my recovery from foot surgery. This has made a Huge difference in comfort. It is wide enough for both legs and it's a great angle and firm. So much better than propping up on a few pillows and much more comfortable. I knocked off a star for the following reasons: I think this could be better priced and the cute carry case it came in was worthless. It ripped trying to get the pillow out and by the way it was jammed in, you would never get it back in to use. We had to cut the pillow out of it. Other than that ... it was a great purchase and I'm glad I have it!

Because of leg swelling and the formation of an ulcer, I was advised by my doctor to elevate my legs above my heart. Now, that is not so easy. After trying some cobbled together ways, I looked on Amazon and was pleased to find this pillow and have it arrive quickly. I have been using it in the last hours of sleep for several hours on top of the other bedding, covering myself with a light but warm blanket. It has taken no time to be able to have it be comfortable and help my leg situation. In addition, it is helping my lower back by keeping it in a flat, supported position. This pillow arrived compactly stuffed into a smaller zipper bag not at all the shape of the pillow. As I was extracting it from this bag, I was thinking it might take a few days to expand to the appropriate dimensions. Not so. It immediately opened up to its full and usable size. Thanks so much!

This is my 3rd time ordering a pillow to try and find the right one to elevate my leg. The first one I ordered was to wide but had a layer of memory foam on top that made it comfortable. I had to send it back. 2nd pillow had the same measurements as the "Xtra-Comfort Leg Elevation Pillow". I loved the width as I only needed to elevate one leg but I could still elevate my other leg if needed. The 2nd pillow wedge was to hard and so my ankle/heel stuck up in the air. I even tried putting a soft pillow on top but it was to uncomfortable that I had to return it within a week. I finally found this one. Perfect width with a layer of memory foam on top. It's a firm enough pillow to keep my leg elevated but the memory foam allows my leg to sink in just enough that it's not sticking up in the air. I've had it for 10 days now. It comes in a white or brown pillowcase. The instructions said to air it out when you first get it. I stuck it outside but I didn't notice much of a smell and I'm sensitive to chemical smells. By bedtime it was close to or fully expanded. It comes vacuumed packed in a cylinder bag inside a box. Although you won't be able to get it back in once you pull it out. So far I am very happy with this wedge. I fall asleep with it. Sometimes I can even sleep on my side. I am 5ft 4inches. If you are a larger person or have larger legs and need to elevate both legs you might prefer A wider than 17 inch wedge.

Just from the look of it, I feel somewhere deep inside that this pillow was used before. It just didn't adjust well to the outside material. If the item is truly new, then I would rate the seller, in terms of quick delivery, etc. 5 stars; but if this item is a used item (which I feel it is), then I would not give it that rating. The item itself is comfortable to use, but have not used it long enough to say it is truly helpful, although it feels okay when I use it. Too tired to send it back...too much trouble.

If you have issues with edema or tired legs this cushion is for you, placed under your lower legs while lying down it raises the legs to assist blood circulation and ease blood pressure and flow to the heart, 15 or 20 minutes at a time and I could feel the benefits almost immediately, what a fantastic relief using this has been for me, I can't recommend it highly enough, solidly built, soft and comfortable, it is an immense help for poor circulation.

I was very please when my wedge pillow arrived. It was just the right thing that was necessary for the condition ,I was dealing with. the wedge pillow is the right length the right depth for putting your legs up whether you're watching television or whether you're sleeping it's extremely comfortable. The fact that the cover is removable and washable is an added bonus considering it's white. Thank-you.

Me encanto! Acabo de tener una cirugia de cadera y el medico recomienda tener tu pierna elevada. Este producto me ayudo muchisimo en mi recuperacion! Es muy complicado intentar hacerlo con almohadas o toallas, la almohada tiene la altura perfecta para que tu pierna tenga el apoyo necesario y no se balancee ni tengas que pasar por dolor innecesario. Mi unica recomendacion es que revisen bien las medidas, para que se aseguren que se adapta a su necesidad. Muy contenta con mi compra... Gracias!
