Comes with a battery and a hard plastic case. Easy to switch on and zero. REadout is clear and seems to be accurate. Feels sturdy and well-made and has done the job admirably so far. For the price, well worth it. Not much more you could ask for.

This item for the price is A1 however as I use it at work the power switch keeps turning on when it’s on my bag running the battery down, although this happens it’s still a damn good item & easy to use.

If your looking for a professional gauge then look elsewhere and pay the price. If like me your looking for a reasonably accurate micrometer that gets used every now and again then this will do very well. Box is OK, just. The only thing I do not like is the light plastic battery and electronics cover especially the battery slide on cover. What I do like is the measurements are convertible from millimetres to inches.

For years I have struggled with accurately measuring internal and external diameters....... It's about 16mm, give or take a mm 😕Then I spotted these, and I can safely say that I have no regrets whatsoever. I cannot believe how often I find myself using them. They come with a handy hard plastic protective case which is definitely a must.Simple enough to use, with an On/Off button, a button to switch from inches to mm to fraction (fractions?.... Remember them?) and a Zero button.Hardened Stainless Steel with an easy-to-read LCD Screen, really well made and accurate!Just one minor negative. You might want to order some decent quality 3V CR2032 Batteries, as the one in it was nearly flat. Even with that one minus point, I'm Well Pleased and as such, Highly Recommended!

Great Value for money Digital Vernier Caliper..I needed a replacement for the manual Vernier I currently have as I cod not get the level of accuracy I needed from it...This Digital Vernier Caliper has been a god send for me since it arrived... it came with batteries already installed and also with two spare batteries... the case it comes in is a nice and sturdy case, so should protect it well from bang and knocks when it inside it..All I can say is... this is not the cheapest i could find but it also was not anywhere near the most expensive. Personally I think thos is just about the sweet spot on usability vs cost...

Good , accurate and easy to use with fast zero reset

I didn’t like the feel of the movement especially when moving with the wheel. I know this is a lower cost model and it wouldn’t be fair to compare with more expensive but I have cheaper that felt better. Other than that it works fine and accuracy was as expected for the price.

Received Used one, returned it straight away.
