Chicago Cutlery Belmont High-Carbon Blade Chef/Utility/Parer Knife Set with Sheath (3-Piece)

Pretty happy with these knifes; I actually bought a set of the "Chicago Cutlery Belmont 16-Piece Block Knife Set"at Wal-Mart last year, and I have been happy with the set so far. I just wanted to add some additional knives to mycurrent set.Some of the Knives seem to be sharper than others, but I just used the sharpening hone that came with my original setto put a nice edge on all of them.

The middle knife was not up to standards with the other two. The metal was not smooth but it still cuts pretty well.

I love these knives! They can get dull but I advise you to do your due diligence and purchase a sharpener of some sort. All in all, these are essential knives and can be used in all sorts of cooking.

I gave my large, countertop Chicago Cutlery knife set to my daughter, but wanted to keep my favorite 7 inch knife... so this set fits my needs and can be kept in a drawer!

Sharp as a razor and has held a edge after 6 months it is as sharp as the day I bought it. Great knife will last for generations.

I was using Chicago butcher knife for almost 10 years. I became a big fan of Chicago cutlery since then. Recently i was looking to upgrade and bought Belmont 3-piece set. The butcher knife is no where close to the original one i bought long time back. I hardly used it for 2 yrs now. it chipped at the center. I presume the quality of belmont has been seriously compromised.I'm totally disappointed with my decision and i wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

This is a great buy. These knives are great. I've had them for over 6 months and they're as sharp as new. Handles are nice and heavy, highly recommended for a small kitchen

We've been travelling for nearly a year, continuously. We've stayed at about 25 accommodations. We cook when it seems best; and one of us loves to chop and slice. Most accommodations have knives, or rather implements that are knife-shaped. We travel with a sharpening steel.Now and again, we've bought a knife to contribute to a particularly destitute kitchen furnishing. Our current placement is a long-term hotel stay for which the cutlery store is zero. Imagine our surprise when the 3-piece set by chicago cutlery hove into view on amazon. Delivered in 3 days, all three knives were close to flawless in fit and finish, and 3 sessions (apiece) with the steel took them to my being able to cut X's on the skin of ripe tomatos. I'm not saying you should toss your Global knives. I suggesting that for 20 bucks, you can change your travel kitchen experience from high-risk, low performance to being limited only by your skill. BTW the CC Belmont line was recommended as the best value within the Chicago Cutlery offerings by a Canadian review site. BTW, any of you who rent accommodations would do well to make this your next replacement. Your clients will thank you. And, if your home knives are all serrated and flexible, you should change your life as well as your knife.
