Sturdy
Good sturdy rubber boots. I bought them in my size, but they are too big.Better than being too small. I can take them off easily.

Fit small and very heavy, but wear well
I bought these as I needed wellies for a music festival and was impressed by the price (and from a brand name I recognised).First point: the other reviews are absolutely correct - you should buy a size up. I'm a UK10 and went for a UK11 which fit pretty well. They left me with enough space to fit some padded insoles that made them a lot more comfy to wear.Second point: my word are these things heavy. I mean really, really heavy when compared to your average set of wellies. Obviously they're meant for tradies and those working on sites, so it makes sense, but after a 14-hour day wearing them around a sodden, muddy festival site you will be feeling it.If you're anything like me and in my situation I'd suggest considering a lighter-wearing alternative. if that doesn't bother you then crack on - these were mega durable and did their job well.

A robust wellie for the price
A great set of wellies. I'm probably on my 5th pair now (I've lost count). For the price they are robust, have a super chunky grip (that does reduce slipping in mud/snow etc) with a steel toe-cap and a very stiff shank/sole (possibly has steel here as well) and hence they are ideal for heavy digging. The wellies stand-up by themselves and don't flop over like cheaper brands. On the downside they don't last forever! I notice from other reviews that the major complaint is the rubber splitting on the upper foot where the walking crease occurs. This is the same with me and a pair rarely lasts longer than a year. I have a small-holding of a few acres and wear them most days during Autumn/winter, so I'm not complaining about this given the price. It's just a shame that I have to discard a perfectly good set of wellies for the sake of a split. I wish there was a wellie recycling centre! Note that the sizes tend to be on the large size. I have feet size of UK 9.5 to 10, but I've learnt to buy an 8 for these JCB wellies and I still need double socks.

wellies
just the job , i was worried that my legs wouldn't go in but they fit great , i had the next size up from my shoe and that allows for thicker socks or insoles , but to be fair these are pretty comfortable as they are

Rubber quality poor splitting
Poor quality rubber boots which have split on the ankle and also on the bridge of the foot (two separate places). Although they are hardly worn, I would not buy these boots again and I would not recommend them.

Split across the toe and heel, not impressed
They appeared to be very tough hard-wearing wellingtons when they arrived. My partner said they were comfortable, but sadly they didn't last long before they split across the toe and heel. He only wore them to take the dogs for a walk. But on a good note, they were waterproof until they splitSadly, I was not impressed with the quality
