Just what I was hoping for!
MY REVIEW: This Cat in the Hat is very soft. Other than the nose the face is stitched on. The nose is fuzzy covered and plastic. There are little beans in his lower torso; I assume to help him sit. It is well made. I see people on here with various perspectives on the height. Personally, I did not care. He was the cutest and softest version of cat in the hat I could find when searching around. My daughter's face lit up when she saw him. I got what I wanted from this transaction.HEIGHT: However, for those that do care: I think it depends on how you measure it. If I pulled his feet out to measure head to toe it is different than if I measure as if he is standing on his feet. I included a picture of a measuring tape behind the cat as if he was standing on his feet.SHIPPING: The seller shipped through USPS. We have problems with them delivering incorrectly. I had to call USPS over an hour to get an employee to contact the carrier to have them correct the issue or I would not have received it. If USPS is an issue for you too I would suggest seeing if the seller can ship through another carrier service for extra shipping cost.

Such a beautiful toy!
Bought this for my grandson. He loves it when I put Cat in the Hat programs on the tv. He comes running when he hears the theme song. I was impressed with the softness of this toy. I’m sure it will be a treasured friend.

Cute plush
It is a very cute plush. Great size, too. I purchased him along with his buddies, Thing 1 and Thing 2. As a trio, they are adorable. My only nitpick with the one I purchased is that his left leg was a tad shifted inward. Nothing too big, though. Just looks a little odd. Overall, great purchase.

This was a surprise for my daughter who is a teacher for Dr.Seuss’s bday as they do a whole day of it at the school she teaches . He will be a big hit and the kiddos will love giving the soft plush guy lots of hugs.
