Ricks Motorsport Electric Pull Start Rebuild Kit for Polaris ATVs 67-500

This kit was perfect. I went through two of these cause i didn't put Locktite on the bolt. Instructions are fairly clear. Make sure the bolt is tight and secure. GREASE THE SHAFT WELL. I would pull the rope a few times before mounting back on your ATV.

Quick ship and the product works as it should. The instructions are straight forward and very detailed. Just remember to tighten the nut enough but not too much. Try it out several times before reinstalling the cover

Everything fit like it is supposed to and their video was a big help. The only issue is the recoil tends to stick sometimes. Otherwise it works awsome.

I installed everything as per the directions, and the second pull resulted in a snap back and failed. Disassembled to find that the metal pin had snapped clean off the reel. I bought another one from a different vendor and it is still working without an issue with the remainder of the kit. The gasket included did not fit my machine, but I was able to save the old one without a tear.

Cheaper than dealer parts and identical to the dealer parts.The plastic reel is made out of the same material as the original.To all the people who say the parts are low quality You Are WrongA dealer reel incorrectly torqued will fail just the same. If you don't have mechanical aptitude don't try to repair it

all parts were included with instructions and seem to be of good quality time in the field will be the real test

Only needed one little clip ,had to buy whole rebuild kit but it was complete and arrived in a timely fashion.

Good quality parts. Everything I needed to repair my pull start for my Polaris ATV. Well written instructions that are eas you to follow. I would recommend.
