They're good value for money. Battery run, you need 3 AA (LR6) batteries (the usual ones) they have 2 modes, twinkle lights and fixed ligths. They're light weight and easy to fix (as you can see in the pic) they work nicely to give a christmas touch to the front door without getting in the way. I'm probably going to keep using them for the kids room after christmas. Very happy with my purchase and definitely recommend.

A great set of lights that were a lot brighter than previous ones I've bought from other outlets. We.placed them around a painting in our bedroom & it's really brings all the decor together. The only negative is the flashing notch but that's rectified by not putting it on.

When I first turned them on I was pleasantly surprised with how bright they were but after a couple of uses the batteries needed changing. They flicker even with new batteries and are just generally a little bit shoddy. Then again, they are probably good value for the price. I really like the glow and its not too bright and good for falling asleep to.

These lights are very cute and make a bedroom or living room look really cosy! They are electronically powered so it's convenient to move them anywhere in the house. The lights have 3 settings on, off and flashing ( The latter being good for parties etc).

Got two hours out of it before it stopped working (permanently). Very dull light. I do not recommend this product AT ALL!

Ich benutze die Lichterkette seit fast zwei Jahren oberhalb der Ecke meines Bettes. Sie erschafft ein wirklich sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Die Helligkeit ist nicht zu stark, um beispielsweise störend zu sein, wenn man einen Fernseher am Bettende aufgestellte hat. Gleuchzeitig reicht die Beleuchtung aber aus, um ein Buch ohne Augenschmerzen zu lessen (vermutlich von Person zu Person unterschiedlich, ich brauche z.B. keine Lesebrille). Empfehlenswert ist die Anbringung an der Wand ganz simpel mit Reißzwecken - am besten in der Farbe der Wand oder des Vorhangs der darunter liegt - dann hängt die Kette quasi unsichtbar. Ich habe sie meistens maximal eine halbe Stunde am Tag an, daher halten die Batterien bei mir oft einige Monate - zu intensivem Gebrauch kann ich keine Aussage treffen. Für die Blinkfunktion sehr ich persönlich keinen großen Nutzen, da ich für die Beleuchtung auf Parties eher zu anderes Designs, Farben und Blinkrhythmen greifen würde und die Gäste durch den warmen Ton wohl eher müde werden - das ist aber meine eigene Meinung. Wegen des geringen Preises ist das Batteriefach der Lampenkette natürlich aus Plastik und daher auch nicht sonderlich robust - sie ist mir ein paar Mal runtergefallen und die Abdeckung des Fachs ist herausgebrochen. Hat keinen Einfluss auf die Funktion, man sollte im Vorfeld aber am besten alles fixieren. Alles in allem ein günstiges, empfehlenswertes Produkt, dass bei richtiger Handhabung lange hält und jeden Raum gemütlicher macht.
