Good Quality and easy to install as long as socket is deep enough
Purchased this to enable me to remotely control the lights in the house. Unfortunately the depth of my wall sockets was not good enough for the switch but purchased a spacer to sort the depth and all working as expected. Connecting into Wifi was easy and I had few Wifi bulbs purchased prior to this which was using Smart Life app and this Wifi socket easily got detected by it. So single app I am able to control variety of Wifi appliances.

Not suitable in UK
This is not suitable for most UK houses. There is no neutral supply to switch box. It can be done but not by an amateur like me. For the switch to work it will need a separate power supply. ie, a battery, they are available.

Good item
Good item. Had to get an electrician in because we only had live and neutral wires. Works well!

Do your homework first to avoid disappointment
I've had this for just over a year now so I can give a fairly good idea of what it's like.First off, yes, it does require a deeper than 'normal' back box, probably at least a 36mm (which is still tight, but if you manage the wires correctly you can make it fit). Also, it does require a neutral wire in order to work - newer houses may have them, older houses likely won't. Check first in all cases and check that it's connected/can be connected the other end.I like it as it doesn't require a hub, like many other smart bulbs or switches, it uses the app to do the initial setup and after that as long as it is supported by Google (I use Google, can't say for Alexa) you can discover an integrate it into your Google Home app.I have had issues where the light disappears from my list entirely and I have to go through setup again. However, over the 14 or so months, I've only had to do this 3 times, and not for about 7 months now.A note about the 2 gang is that it will recognise as one device and then two switches - name the device completely different from the switch names and you won't get it confused about which switch you mean when using voice commands. You can also leave it out of a 'room' in home (I have setup a room called z-unused for such devices that are in limbo).Overall happy with the switch, and a great price compared to some of the other alternatives which also need a hub. 4 stars due to slight specifics in setup and use but generally performs exactly as I want it to. I have it set to come on automatically at sunset and turn off just after midnight - you can use the smart setup and timers for that part.

Don’t buy 2gang light switches for Alexa!
I received this 2 gang light switch today, and installed it, only to find that the Alexa app only recognised it as 1 switch. Consequently when I ask Alexa to turn on 1 light, it turns on both, making a 2 gang switch a complete waste of money.
