You need to anchor this to your wall. It's like a roller coaster otherwise.
When I initially recieved this one of my pieces of wood was actually cracked. I wrote in and he sent me out the damaged piece, which was great, although it was annoying having a bed half built as I waited, though that was also on me for not checking the wood before I started.I ended up having to drill through this bed to anchor it into the wall, I also lowered it a little by sawing all the legs to try to stop the rocking as much. Before the sawing, my head would touch the roof and it would constantly bang against the wall whenever I rolled over.Since lowering it and anchoring it to the wall it's much better.

Got this for my 17 year old daughter who has a small bedroom, she was able to put her desk underneath and gave her lots of extra storage ideas, she is also planning to paint it as well
