Steam Iron, 1200W Non-Stick Soleplate Iron,Variable Temperature and Steam Control, Self-Cleaning Function, Purple

I bought this iron to quickly replace a Rowenta brand iron that I’ve had for about 20 years. I planned on spending around $150 for a GOOD iron because I’m a seamstress that uses an iron every day. But I needed something cheap and quick while I waited for a professional iron. I needed an iron that did NOT have an automatic turn off, because I need it on continuously for 8-10 hours every day. And I wanted a larger iron with some weight to it to press better. I needed steam and a shot of water. I’ve used this for three months now, and I must admit how impressed I am! Especially at the low price. So far, it acts just as well as my pricey irons. If you need an iron - buy this! I would totally purchase this again if this one goes bad.

The ease of use got 4 stars because the temperature dial is underneath the handle. This is also the on/off switch. It is very inconvenient to move the dial. My hands are too big, so I use a finger and move it from the side. You also can't really read the dial. Having a different power switch would make a difference, because I use only one setting.I bought this iron with little expectation. My good, cordless iron has not been located since we moved, and I needed something for making masks to protect against COVID 19. I just needed something under $20 that would work.I'm extremely impressed. It's light weight, and I've not had a problem with the cord getting in the way. A bonus is that you can steam things as they hang. And it's a POWERFUL puff of steam!! Powerful and a bit frightening that first time.My plan had been to give this away after I find my cordless. Not anymore. Now, I'm keeping it.

I don't iron much but it worked well when I used it.

This iron is very nice, lots of steam and it doesn't turn off which I love but the water tank is so dark you can't tell how much water you are adding to iron. It's a purple and you can barely rear where the Max word is. But you can't see the water at all - very poor design.

Update:I originally gave this company a 1 star rating and am now changing it to 5! I was able to contact manufacturer thru Amazon and they replied the same day! They are sending me a new iron. The iron itself is great . . . really needed one that did not automatically shut off. No other problems with product and I appreciated the quick response from the company.OriginalI've had this iron for 9 months.....it was perfect until today; it stopped working. I can't find how to contact the company; there is not a website available. Additionally, there is NO contact information on their product box, nor in the instruction manual.

This iron gets up to heat faster than any iron I've used! The steam burst is very powerful and the mist is easy to target where you want sprayed. Lightweight with a nice sized water reservoir. The fill cup included with the iron makes pouring the water in very simple. Be careful not to over fill. The chamber holds more water when stood up than when it is parallel and will pour excess from the bottom ports. My wife didn't know I had already put a full fill cups worth in so she did the same. OOPS! LOLThis iron is an excellent value and very well constructed.

This iron does exactly what I bought it for— it does NOT shut off!! I sew and searched high and low for an iron without auto off and am thankful for this one. It is definitely the Pinto of the iron world, but as I said, it does just what I need. It leaked a little at first but seems to have stopped. It is hard to see the water level I thought the 1200 watts might not be as hot as my Rowenta, but it is not a problem.

The water comes out harshly when ironing or steaming clothes

The iron is standard size. It has a small water tank , like usual, and you can spray / steam your clothes a bit extra with it. As expected - good featuresIt does feel a bit too fragile for my liking. I will say, as a backup or for guests this is great. Great price

Good looking and fairly lightweight. Dual features of spraying or Steam from the baseplate makes it a better iron

I hate ironing but I LOVE this iron. It's lightweight but packs a real punch. The steam force is amazing. For the first time, I didn't have to use starch for a clean line.

It leaks when you use the steam option.
