It really works!
I purchased this unit mainly to clean motorcycle carburetors. Itโs done a good job of that. It cleans out the tiny fuel and air jets of the smallest carbs Iโve cleaned so far. The parts arenโt as shiny as Hydro-Seal gets them, but the Ultra Sonic is much faster. One or two 30 minute sessions is all it takes. Iโve been using the Master Stages Cleaner 2020, also purchased from Amazon, diluted with water in this unit. That and the recommended heat gets the job done. The combination seems to be effective. The machine is kind of noisy, as others have pointed out. Itโs also heavy when full (of the recommended Max fill of fluid) so you have to pick a spot to leave it sit. The heater takes awhile to warm up the fluid so Iโve chosen not to place mine in the garage, even though it is partially heated. Mine is in the laundry room, where the tub is handy for washing cleaned parts. Overall, Iโm happy with this machine. Two thumbs up, as Siskel&Ebert used to say.

Works great
So far, so good. Using it to clean watches. It is powerful & creates a very even wave in the fluid. The heater works fantastic. The only bad part is the basket, but just buy your own mesh containers to use, as they are finer & hold parts better. I use solvents, so I put them in Mason jars & submerge into water which I place in the unit. At work we use a soap solution directly in the unit itself. They get a ton of use & still work great. So I'm pretty happy with it, & am glad they don't cost $300 for a quality unit anymore.

Massive upgrade for the home shop.
I use this several times a week. Cleans carbs and other small parts thoroughly. Wishing that I had bought this years ago. Super quiet. So far, it's been very durable. Now that I've been using this for awhile, I didn't realize how much I needed it.

Works OK, doesn't meet manufacturer's published specifications
TL;DR -- Slightly over-priced for what you get and it does work, but the transducer does not produce the rated power. I bought the 40A model, which purports to have a 200 watt tank heater and a 240 watt transducer. I put an ammeter on it to test this, and while the heater makes the rated 200 watts (120V @ ~1.9 amps), the transducer only makes about 200 watts (120V @ 1.75 amps). Curiously, this would match the specs for the 30A unit (although the label on this one does say 40A). The usable tank volume is approximately 11.5" x 9.25" x 4.75" (WHD), which is 505 cubic inches, or 2.2 gallons (~8.3 liters). I'm assuming you're not supposed to fill it past the ridge that's about 1" down from the top. The entire tank volume might be 2.6 gallons (10 liters), but the usable tank volume is not. You're not supposed to set objects on the bottom of the tank, so the included basket further reduces the usable volume of the tank. The 200 watt heater took over 30 minutes to raise the temperature from 20C to 40C. I didn't do the math to determine how long it should take to raise 2 gallons by 20C degrees, but when you're waiting for it, it's slow. Glacially slow... The controls work OK, but the front panel of the unit is thin sheet metal, and flexes quite a bit as you're pressing buttons. The manual is what you'd expect from a typical Chinese manual; hard to read and lacking clarity. For instance, if you don't have enough water in the tank, the temperature blinks '01' and although the heater indicator is on, it's not actually heating. You do need to fill the tank a little more than 3/4 full before it decides it has enough fluid to be happy. When the unit is first turned on, the timer defaults to 5:00 minutes. Once the cycle has completed, it resets back to 0:00. This is a little annoying if you want to run a number of cleaning cycles. I had to keep resetting it to 15 minutes before starting each cycle. I have no way to measure the transducer frequency, so I'll have to trust that it's indeed 40KHz. The unit is not excessively noisy, but you don't want to run it in your office. It produces a moderately loud buzzing, which is the tank resonating at some frequency. My overall impression is that I would have found it to be a much better value at $150 than $200. It does clean things; I had a bunch of fairly dirty sockets from a socket wrench set, and it cleaned them up. I used AIM Purple Dragon cleaner, and they came out pretty well. I also cleaned a few bolts from an engine that were greasy and had some rust, and it did OK on those. It's good enough to not return it, but it's no value deal. That being said, I didn't see any other units on Amazon that seemed any better.

Very happy so far.
Full disclosure, I have no idea if this cleaner is better or worse than any other as I have never used one before purchasing this one. With that said, as seen in the pictures and video, I had 2 snowmobile carburetors that had sat for 17 years and were in very rough shape internally. After roughly an hour in the ultrasonic cleaner, they were in pretty good shape. I did need to use a wire brush on a few of the really bad spots but the cleaner did the bulk of the work. I used roughly 1 gallon of water mixed with 1/4 cup Simple Green Aviation cleaner that I also purchased on Amazon. I used that product because I knew I would be cleaning aluminum, and figured since aircraft are basically all aluminum, it'd be a good product for me. Overall, I'm very pleased with this cleaner. It's rare something like this lives up to expectations, but truthfully this has. I've since used it to clean tools, auto parts, etc., basically whatever is dirty and can fit inside the tank. I hope this review was helpful. Good luck with whatever project you've got going. Also, I always edit my reviews if something changes. If the cleaner quits working, or even if it's still doing a great job a year later, I will be sure to let you know. It's currently February of 2020.

Works great, but boy is it loud!!
This is the big boy!!! You can fit a whole cylinder head in it! And does an amazing job. Damn fine job. I using 2 gallons of simple green and 6 gallons of water. There are two faults: 1) The heater takes a LONG time to heat up. Partly because it's 8 gallons, partly because the heater is weak sauce. 2) It's damn loud! Sounds like a cross between static and angry bees. I have it my shop so I don't mind, but if you plan to use inside, you were warned.

Died on second use
I used this to clean some jewelry when it first arrived in February or early march. Didn't seem to get as hot as I would have expected, but everything came out clean so I set in on a shelf until it was needed again. Set it up yesterday, filled the tub and after a few minutes it filled the room with smoke. Just checked for a warranty and it appears it's only good for 90 days. I will reach out to the company to see if anything can be done, but it does not appear to be a well made machine. I'm really sorry I had not run it more when it first arrive to learn of the issue...

Wrong size hose connection/actual temperature useless
The full port ball valve for the drain is a 3/8", and the MNPT x Hose barb was 1/4" plastic fitting; useless! A trip to the hardware store was required for a brass 3/8" MNTP x 9/16" hose barb and new 9/16" hose. Quick fix but very disappointing. The actual temperature DOES NOT provide the actual temperature of the solution. The function and cleaning action was as expected and acceptable. The Manual with the unit is completely useless as it obviously translated from Chinese as many on the statements are to protect manufacturer from warranty issues. Overall another example to spend a little more and buy American.

Practically dead on arrival
Had high hopes for this product due to the number of glowing reviews. Received in excellent condition. No damage on packaging, unit and parts all appear to be well made and fit together perfectly. Decided to do a quick test and tried to start the machine with a couple of metal parts and no heating - just tap water. Proceeded to trip my house's circuit breaker after 1 minute, and would no longer turn on afterwards despite fuses and cable still being intact and power switch still lighting up. Returned.
