I absolutely love this aloe vera gel! It's become a must-have in my skincare routine. Whenever I get a sunburn, it gives me instant relief after the first application, and my sunburn is usually healed within about two days. It feels so cooling and soothing on my skin. I also use it every morning on my face, and it keeps my skin so hydrated that I don't even need to apply lotion afterward. My face looks fresh, healthy, and moisturized without feeling greasy. As an added bonus, it really seemed to help with my acne—I hardly deal with breakouts anymore! The gel has a nice consistency, absorbs well, and a little goes a long way. It also comes with a small flat applicator spoon for hygienic application. I personally didn't use it and threw mine away, but it's a nice extra if you prefer using one. I got this Aloe Vera Gel after spending too much time outside in the sun doing some exterior renovation. I ended up with a sunburn so bad that I could barely stand to have anything touching my skin. I was so miserable, so I did some searching to determine what the best treatment would be. I found this gel on Amazon and it was delivered early morning the next day. I felt instant relief as soon as I applied it to my sunburned skin. My skin instantly felt cool and the burning sensation subsided immediately. It come with a little applicator paddle, if that's your preference to scooping the gel with your fingers. The gel isn't greasy, and the thickness of the gel makes applying easy...you can apply it where you want it without it running all over the place. The gel is eventually absorbed into the skin but the process is slow so relief lasts longer. I'm not an expert on Aloe Vera gel, but having worked around the plants this gel is very consistent with the gel directly from the plant. I recommend this product, not only for sunburn treatment, but as regular skin treatment to keep your skin soft and healthy. I use it nearly every day.

This gel is my holy grail; savior of my highly compromised skin barrier. I bought this aloe gel on a whim at 3 am because my face was stinging so badly from either too many actives or some kind of allergic reaction to something. Just burning stinging pain with dryness so bad I couldn’t sleep. When this came in the mail the next day I put it in the fridge with all the hope in the world. After showering I slathered a huge amount of it on my face as a mask and let it sit there till it dried all the way down. There was no stickiness at all so I just put a lotion on top and went to bed. By the time I woke in the morning my face was much much better. Still compromised but less painful and more importantly I was able to sleep. I definitely recommend keeping in the fridge. The coolness compounds the soothing. 100/10 will be repurchasing and finding other ways to use it.

I really love this aloe vera gel. It has a lightweight texture, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling soft, refreshed, and well hydrated without any sticky residue. I use it after showering and whenever my skin needs extra moisture. The jar contains a generous amount, and the quality is excellent. This Gel works wonders , I’ve been dealing with an itchy rash on my hand and after buying this product and using it in the am and pm , my rash is almost all gone .This gel makes it a lot more manageable. I would definitely recommend this gel if you have a rash and cortisone or Vaseline won’t completely heal it

Literally cannot live without this stuff. Especially good if you're looking for (mostly) pure aloe with no alcohol or weird preservative smells. I use it on my skin as kind of a pre-moisturizer/soothing for after cleansing, and also on my scalp in between washes to help with dryness. I notice some people complained about it not absorbing or being sticky as it dries... it you slather a lot on (nothin' wrong with that!) it will take a while to dry and may leave a sticky residue if you're not putting something else on (moisturizer, etc.). The thing with aloe is that it will not absorb like a cream, but it will evaporate (given enough time before you add something else). Also: it's not going to really function as your ONLY moisturizer, at least for me it doesn't, but it IS helpful for adding water content to your skin, which you can seal in like I said with another moisturizer--or even just vaseline, for a hypoallergenic night-time regimen. I will also say: I use this pretty much every day, and it usually takes me 3 to 4 months to get through this container, so definitely a good value for what you get.

Using for scalp and beard hydration without clogging pores. It's a thicker aloe gel. I tend to prefer that. It feels like it hydrates for more than an hour. I have noticed some flaking residue after a few hours after dry though. Surprisingly, it will smooth out and soften a beard almost as well as an oil, with no sheen. Can tame beard and hair with it, light styling. Maybe a bit of plant starch in it though given all aforementioned. Other products are lighter, more watery, perhaps less plant matter. Depends on what you want. At 96% pure i doubt it's anything other than plant starch. See ingredients for a 6 added ingredients. 7 Minerals makes a 98.7% pure gel with 3 added ingredients that are organic preservatives. It's very watery though. Depends on your prerogative. Both are great products.
