Samsung Galaxy S 4 SGH-M919 Charging Port & Microphone Flex Cable OEM S4 with 4pc Tool set CellFixParts

I took my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 (SGH-M919) out for a run in the rain, which turned out to be a bad idea. After that the phone would not charge. The phone was otherwise fully functional, and I could still charge the battery with an external charger.Replacing this USB port internal part clearly fixed my issue. I did the repair myself with the included tools (tweezers were also helpful) with the guidance of videos available online. The provided tools are not really designed to be durable, but they were immensely convenient and helpful.Although I have done similar work on laptops, desktops and older generations of phones, I am not particularly skilled or experienced, and this was the first time I have replaced an internal part on a modern smartphone. The replacement process turned out to be pretty straight forward. I would only advise caution on the step to physically remove the existing USB port part from the phone. It is attached with adhesive, and it is pliable. I pulled my old one out of shape removing it. If I had to revert back to this old part, it may never go back into the phone properly anymore.

The part looked just like the OEM and the packaging, shipping was perfect. I had to buy and install this in my girlfriends S4 because if it is electronic she will find a way to break it and she had broken her USB port. Installation was a breeze and the phone charged just like new. Later that day she went to order pizza and they couldn't hear her. I took it back apart to see it there was something I could fix but sadly no. The mic picked up only very hard hits and screaming into the mic but just barely. Was going to return and try again but we found out since we had T-Mobile Jump it only cost us 5 dollars to swap it out for a new one. However we didn't tell them why the mic wasn't working. I more than likely just got a defective unit(I'm lucky like that) I would still recommend this product but could only give 2 stars due to it being a defective unit.

I bought this piece for my Samsung S4 (T-Mobile) M919 I believe is the model number. It's a perfect replacement and came with some handy tools. My phone still is not working, so I know it must be another part. I only use as a tablet but it was a good try.Shipping was superb, thanks

Thanks samsung for making the s4 easy to flip out your mini USB. Others I have had were a pain but this was easy, maybe a 25 minute job for someone with very little experience. The tools that came with it are okay but I had a couple other laying around that i used too. Anyway, it fixed my phone and is a great product that was easy to install. Be sure everything is nice and snug when before putting your phone all back together. I had to reopen a fix a loos cable so it would close all the way but that was totally my fault. Great product.

Neatly and safely packed.Repaired my T-mobile Galaxy SG4 (i use it on a different network though) in just 15 minutes. Very easy repair. Look up videos in YouTube. Actually, the repairs are done easier than it looks like in the video.Spending the bucks here and fixing saved me from having to go buy a new phone or paying someone $50 to $100 to repair.If you are good at following directions (youtube instruction videos) then you can buy and fix yourself. I do highly recommend.

Product arrived on time, fit into my phone (Galaxy S4) and the charging port worked, although it charged slower than the original part. However, as many reviewers have described in other reviews, the microphone did not work at all. I could not be heard by anyone during a phone call (I had to resort to speakerphone) and could not use any voice command functionalities on the phone. I noticed that the model number/SN on the part did NOT match the original in my phone. The SGH-M919 matched my phone, but the specific number for this particular component did not match the original in the phone. In any event, purchase at your own risk, I don't see any way to tell ahead of time whether the mic will work or not upon installation - seems to work for some, not for others.

As many other buyers have noted, the part I received was defective. Upon installing it into my phone, I received an error message that my phone's battery temperature was too low to charge, or to use my camera flash. Apparently this is a common sign of a defective part. I bought a replacement from another seller and it worked just fine. Very disappointed with this purchase.

The first time I bought this product it worked beautifully, so when I got water damage to my charging port for a second time I immediately bought the same product from the same vendor again. However, the one they sent me was a faulty port. Even though it would hold a charge, my soft key buttons (the return key and the info key) stopped working. I returned the product and requested for a replacement, which they sent for free and got to me within 2 business days. Now, the new port is working fine and I'm happy with it. It was just annoying having to wait an extra few days to get a working port.
