I had the zosi 4 camera set up. I am very pleased with the easy set up, replay to check for things while I was away. It works so well I ordered the 8 camera set up. Very good product.

Purchased February 28 and quit August 28. Lasted 6 months.
Exactly at 6 months 4 of the 8 channels stopped working. Finally I unplugged the DVR after waiting a week to see if the cameras would start working again. When I plugged it back in there is a Zosi logo on the screen and it just says "system initializing" and it is just stuck there. When I bought the system I installed a Seagate Skyhawk Surveillance ST2000VX008 2TB SATA 6.0GB/s 64MB Hard Drive (3.5 inch). It cost $75 so it is a quality hard drive. I have purchased 6 of these Zosi DVRs in the last 20 years. 3 lasted many years. One quit in about a month and the seller replaced it. Another lasted around 5 months and quit after a power surge from a storm. Now this one lasted 6 months and fizzed out. So my success rate with Zosi DVRs is about 50% . Not so great.

1 month and there working fine
Install was typical, resolution is pretty good. Camera body's are plastic. I'm sure it said that somewhere but I didn't read it before I had them in hand. They function fine. Just expected metal Body cameras. Plastic cameras in the AZ heat wonder how long they will last? Software is OK.. For the price it's a good system

Mas que bien por el precio
Pedi este kit de camara como regalo para mi madre, las acabo de recibir y quede super encantada con el proceso de envio, llego a tiempo, con todo lo que describe, buen enpaquetado y todo bien explicado para la instalacion, me preocupaba los cables como solo decia que traia dos fuentes de alimentacion para 8 camaras, pero veo que todo va bien no necesito mas que el disco duro para que trabaje. Aun no las he probado, espero que todo valla bien en lo adelante. Ahora estoy esperando el Disco Duro y el Cable HDMI para poder configurarla.

Good system for local viewing.
Installation went well Camera quality is good as long as you remember to switch the cameras to 1080p at the cameras after power up (default is 960) Local software is good .Remote live viewing is good. If you are going to install your DVR near where you are going to view/review recordings this system works well. That is where the 5 star ends. Now for the 0 star part. Remote recorded viewing Is Horrible. Remote live viewing is fine . No webserver built in to unit (that I could access anyway). Remote software for pc is ridiculously complicated to set up with very poor functionality (ff rew ). I cannot attest to mobile app as I did not need it. However others reviews suggest it also leaves a lot to be desired. DVR is in a closet on shelf so standing there with a stepstool and a mouse to review recordings isn't going to happen. I have already installed system so returning isn't going to happen. Ordered a different DVR. If your DVR is going to be located where you will be accessing recordings directly, I recommend this system based on price/features. If you plan on locating the DVR in a remote location. You might want to consider some other options.

Cheap camera with cheap plastic and cheap screws and the cables are cheap 3 of them don't work hard to set up I would not buy again
