O my Gosh! worth every penny and more!
I am 74 and have been having trouble getting up and off of my couch. On a whim, I decided to check out lifters.I went to Amazon and read a lot of reviews and designs, and decided even though this did not look so great, ( being plastic ) they sounded like the ones for me.I ordered the 2" and they have been a game changer. They do not look bad at all, ( I ordered the brown) blended well with my couch.I have fake hardwood floors, so to maybe stop the slid, I put small bathroom rugs that matched my floor under the back legs, you can not even see them. The lifters and legs and couch are rock solid !Now, I get up from my couch with easy, and sitting down I do not drop like I use to, they are SO worth every penny and it seems like no more back pain as of yet.Winner, Winner!!!!

Won’t slide
I love the risers they’re great they fit great they’re sturdy but the only problem that you can’t slide them on carpet. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to maybe help them glide on the carpet it’s hard to get to my sofa if it’s sitting in the right place you have to move it out and then you can’t slide them back, so I’m kind of upset about that

Super sturdy!!!
I had to buy something to elevate our gorgeous, giant couch. I don't love how they look but sturdy is key. At this point, being in my 50s with a very bad back, I will lower the lights and choose to avoid looking at the feet of my couch!

Perfect fit
I needed risers for my sofa. I measured the leg of sofa. When looking for riser, I made sure to check the dimensions but was still worried. These risers are 2” high. They fit my sofa perfectly. Now it is easier to get up without my knees hurting.

Stack with caution
I purchased 12 of these risers and the corresponding connectors to create 9 inch risers for our child's dorm bed.The good - they are heavy duty plastic and I have no concerns on their overall durability and ability to hold the weight of the furniture combined with human weight. I chose them because I liked the concept of the wider base and the connectors for stacking. If you are looking to raise something about 3 inches, the basic single riser is nice. The questionable - when you stack them, the layers do not lock together and the connection isn't tight (we accidentally knocked over a stack during assembly and the individual risers scattered. The stability of these is not great when stacked, and they can spin, because while the connector is square and has a tight fit in the bed of the riser, the connection area is circular (pretty serious design flaw from our perspective). Our solution was to duct tape it all together to make the stack more stable, which works for now and our college student will have to check on it occasionally to make sure everything is staying in place. After reading another review, we added a grip mat surface to the top bed of the riser, because if your legs are much smaller than the bed, you're going to see some slipping around as the bed of the riser offers minimal friction. The bed of the riser is also not very deep, so I would not use these with anything that has wheels.

Helpful and a good idea
Just what I needed to raise my summer patio cot to a reasonable height where I could actually get out of the thing without rolling out of it. Before adding this product the cot was only 15 inches off the deck and it took about a dozen deep knee bends to launch myself out of it.
