For smooth sliding
This is going to be all about likes and dislikes, hopefully more likes than the other. First off I like wood floors or where thatโs not practical, wood laminate floors. Unfortunately both a susceptible to scratching from furniture with the wrong kind of feet โ usually metal, bare wood or hard plastic. The first thing I like to do when I bring new furniture into my house is to install felt or carpet pads on to the bottom of the feet or legs. Usually that can be done with stick on adhesive pads but thatโs not so good on chair legs because as they slide around the adhesive works itself off. The better way for chairs with wood legs is to use nail-on pads. Unfortunately the headline for this product suffers from misguided information, they refer to these as anti-sliding which is just the opposite of what you want, you want these pads to slide, smoothly and freely on hard surface floors. If you want non-slip get rubber pads. Hopefully they catch and correct that error. What I really like are the nail-on pads with carpeted tips but those have been difficult to find lately, I guess itโs just a lot cheaper for them to use felt which works okay be doesnโt last as long and does tend to catch tiny particles of stones and debris. HOW TO INSTALL Nail-on pads like this are great but the last thing you want them to do is split the wood of a furniture leg, itโs easy to accidentally do that and very difficult to repair. I see that the number one issue a few people had was with the nail bending. What I like to do is to drill a pilot hole first, then very gently tap the nail into the hole with a rubber mallet. If possible, try to cover the felt with a piece of cloth to prevent the mallet from leaving a residue on the felt. If that happens itโs easy to clean it off with any mild household cleaner. WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THESE These are easy to find in stores but usually they only stock one size and one color, this company has many sizes and trim in black, brown or white for a professional finished look. And I like that you get 40 of them for about eight bucks, depending on which size you choose. They come in a plastic bag, no frills, no fancy plastic case.

Good for the money
Some of the better pads I've used. Good price and good quantity.

Perfect for kitchen table and chairs
I bought these for my kitchen table and chairs, which were screeching horrifically against our tile floors. I like they are hammered into the bottom of the chair and table legs to ensure they won't just end up sliding off. It has been about 1 month since we put them on and zero problems and they're still intact firmly.

Easy to install. Use a drill to make pilot hole
Why didnโt I use these earlier??? I have been dealing with stick ones that fall off for years. These should be much better. I followed the advice of many reviewers and drilled a slightly smaller hole into the base of my chairs so that I could hammer in the pads without bending the screws. Didnโt bend a single one!

Pads are undersized
I ordered the set clearly marked "24mm pads", but the diameter of the nylon washer is *maybe* 24mm if you squint, and the actual load-bearing pad is only 21mm, which means it's supporting the weight on only 75% of the advertised area.

Perfect...and they don't move!
It is frustrating to add adhesive pads to all the furniture only to have them slide slowly off to the side. THESE STAY PUT! I highly recommend drilling a pilot hole because the nails will bend. But with a pilot about 3/4 as deep as the nail is long, I dropped each one in the hole and have it a couple of light hammer taps and that was enough to hold them in place. Great solution.

reasonable buy
average quality, not the best...the felt on some of the pieces tends to separate from the plastic, so the glue is not the best quality. however, i have been able to protect all of my furniture with them.

just ok
these were a lot smaller than i thought and does not suit dining chairs that have a med to large footprint. a few of the nails were faulty / mal aligned and were disposed.
