Very pretty Tiffany style floor lamp and perfect for our needs, as we live in a 100+ year old house. Hubby said it was easy to put together and it seems to be very sturdy. We like the foot switch too and the ability to adjust the angle of the shade. My only complaint is the small size of the shade - I did read the dimensions when first considering this lamp but somehow thought the shade would be bigger. Nonetheless it is still a pretty lamp, the yellow color is exactly what I was looking for and it works in the space I needed it very well. Overall quite pleased.

The lamp is actually made of glass and metal, as described; not plastic, as some reviewers have claimed. Apparently this is a common misconception, so the manufacturer even includes a sample piece of glass to see for yourself. In my younger days, I made a few stained glass windows and lamps. I can assure skeptics, this lamp is indeed made of real glass and metal. The ornate base is some sort of composite material, but it’s quite heavy and matches the metal parts. I was surprised how easy the whole lamp was to assemble. The wires and parts come already in place. All you have to do is screw the few pieces together. It couldn't have taken me more than 10 minutes from start to finish. Assembly is virtually foolproof, even without instructions. As others have noted, the shade is a bit small compared to similar lamps. But for a reading lamp, it's about perfect. The 12" measurement in the description is from opposing corners. From one flat side to the other, it's just shy of 10-1/2 inches. A similar style mid-sized square table lamp I own is 22 inches on the diagonal (corner to corner); 15" on the sides. My largest of this style is essentially round, 15 inches in diameter. So before ordering, you might want to measure some of your own lamps for comparison. This shade being six sided, is kind of a cross between rectangular and round. As I already owned a square and a round one, this one fits right in. Rooms decorated using Victorian and stained glass fixtures (Tiffany-style) tend to be a bit eclectic anyway. As an extra bonus, mine was on sale "like new" from the manufacturer. Had I not known otherwise, I'd have believed it was brand new. Saved me $30. I was kind of on the fence about whether to buy this lamp now, but I'm a sucker for a good bargain! Couldn't be more pleased with the results. It comes with a small, lower brightness, clear LED bulb. It doesn't say whether or not it's dimmable. I remembered I had a large LED globe, and wondered how it would look in a small lamp. Judge for yourself– you can see it in one of my photos. The foot switch seems kind of funky to me, but it doesn't matter since I plugged my lamp into an automated dimmer. Most of the lights in my home are now on wifi, controlled using iPhones, iPads and Macs through Apple's HomeKit. It wasn't easy to do, but I'm rather talented regarding such things. Built my first computer in 1979. (anybody remember HeathKit?!) A whopping 2.048 MHz, 48k, and later a 100k floppy drive. They don't make them like they used to, thank goodness!

The lamp shade colors change depending on bulb and sunlight. The base and stand add elegance and is sturdy. This lamp is functional for reading depending on positioning and bulb, or can serve as an accent lamp. The shade itself is a bit small and does not adjustable to angles. All in all we like it in our living room. A bit pricey.

This lamp is pretty and very sturdy. It is all metal, with a nice heavy base. The stained glass shade is very nice. I have never had a floor switch before, but I find that it’s fine. Some lamps have hard to turn knobs, especially for older or arthritic hands, so a floor switch or pull chain is better. I put an led bulb (15 watt) which is equivalent to 100 watts. You can adjust the shade to different angles so the light doesn’t shine in your eyes.

This is my second Werfactory lamp in as many weeks. I was so impressed with my first (similar) Werfactory lamp, I bought this one 2 weeks later. They both are well made, easy to assemble, and sharp looking. If I could 6 stars, I would. Use an "antique," sometimes called Edison lightbulb for an even sharper look.
