9 inch Long VES DVD TV Screen Repair Ribbon Cable for 2007-2012 Dodge Grand Caravan Durango & Chrysler Town Country

Worked perfectly to fix the broken screen in my 2010 Town & Country. The installation was more involved than I expected, but that's on the engineers and designers at Chrysler. The screen is still going strong almost a year later, so I'd say the quality of this cable is excellent.

I bought this ribbon cable to repair the DVD screen on our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country. The product works great, and the DVD player is back in service. It wasn't an easy fix, but that's not any fault of the product. After watching a few YouTube videos, I realized that I needed to remove the entire overhead console to access the DVD player. All said and done, it probably took me about an hour and a half to swap out the cable. It was well worth the effort to have the DVD player functional again - and without a costly trip to the dealer.

I bought this to attempt to fix our VES DVD Player in a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. I took the whole overhead console apart and replaced this ribbon with the help of a YouTube video. As soon as we turned the van back on the screen that had been dead was back on! And the color was more vibrant than it had been before it died. So happy for a cheaper fix than the dealership had quoted us.

Just what I needed. 2013 T&C rear DVD was blacked out. Head unit would not turn on rear ves. Took the chance and ordered this strip and put it in and it works perfectly now. Mine was about 9 inches long and the new one is about 11 inches long but that's good because it allows room for when the screen is pushed open beyond what it is designed to. Be sure to count your pins. I almost ordered the wrong one and glad I noticed.

The front screen in my 2010 Volkswagen Routan started intermittently working when you opened it, then after a while went completely black. This little ribbon was the fix. Easy fix once you figure out how to remove the system.. there are some good YouTube videos to help out. Definitely recommend if you want to save money.

I can't tell you the relief to see this part saved me $1000 bucks. Worked perfectly and fit just right. Thank you so much. Took some time to remove VES system from ceiling of minivan but overall about an hour to fix once you watch video.

My unit was bad in the end. The cable was indeed cracked when I opened up but I had to get a new console from a salvage yard. Now I have another cable for when the new one goes bad. I believe the light in the lcd screen went bad. I found them on the internet for 6 dollars from china. Could have waited a month for one or buy a new to me console from salvage. Went with the salvage option. Cost 40$ and now I have spare parts fro the old console.

The product itself worked perfectly and was easy to switch out on the circuit board. We followed a YouTube video for that part. The most difficult part was removing the main case around the dvd screen area. Our model (2012 Grand Caravan) didn't have any of the flaps or obvious places to unclip it that every blog or YouTube video seemed to talk about. By some luck, we finally got unclipping it started and then we got the rest unclipped fairly easily. I included a photo of it in case your vehicle is similar, so you can see where the clips are hiding. (We used a flat head screw driver to push on them while pulling down. You seriously feel like you're gonna break it.)

Excelente producto, yo lo busqué por mucho tiempo y no lo encontraba por el nombre, pero ya que lo encontré le quedó perfecta a la pantalla, les recomiendo a los clientes ponerle cinta azul tipo maskin tape para que les dure mas y no se rompa con el movimiento de bajar y subir!!!!

Las use para pantallas de dvd VES, de una camioneta town & country 2009 y cumple totalmente con su función y viene en muy buena calidad.
