Makes my hair really curly
I really like these curlers. My hair is hard to curl and keep the curl. These are great. They are easy to use, they are a great size, they work well and there are plenty of them. These are a great price for such a great job. The colors are fun too

Comfortable curlers.
Perfect.I have dred locs. These curler created perfect tight curls. These are easier to work with than perm rods or flexi rods. These were very comfortable to sleep in. When you are ready to remove, coat your fingers and hands lightly with oil. Gently slide the curler out - take your time. I prefer this to unraveling the curler.I recommend sleeping with a triangle hair tied to your head. I tie mine tightly to my heat and put on a bonnet. My hair was dry. Prior to using the roller, I applied mousse to each section of hair that I wanted to use the roller onI used two pkgs of rollers.Once all have been removed you can arrange/style the curls to your liking.

effective and comfortable
I got these for a dress up day at school. I did not expect them to work so well! My hair was SO curly after wearing all day. I even slept in them and they weren't bad at all. These might be getting used for more than just dress up day!

hair curlers
I used these for the first time last night---my hair was freshly washed & still damp when I used them. I have fine hair, medium length that has some natural wave. It was pretty easy to roll & attach these & I had no trouble sleeping in them. Upon removal in the morning my hair was SO, SO curly!! I actually had to tame down the curls a bit by using a blow dryer so I will need to work on my technique in the future. The rollers are super cute with the colors/polka dots & come with a really nice bag to store them in.

Really, really, really curly
I have straight hair with essentially no natural body. It's thick, but fine and a just about shoulder-length. I had a lot of trouble getting these to stay in as they just slipped off. I finally resorted to using a clip and/or bobby pin to keep them in. If they had stayed in on their own they were pretty comfortable to sleep in, so if you don't need a clip like I did you should be okay.As I said, I have really straight hair - think Marsha Brady straight. The first time I used these my hair was so curly I could have played Annie. I am not exaggerating, it was truly a mass of curls all over. Combing it turned it into a frizzy mass. I ended up using a curling iron to get it under control. It was a trial & error process, but the end result actually looked pretty good and my hair had a ton of body & stayed looking good all day.I've played around with these since and found that the more hair on each roller helps, but it's still too curly. I have a similar type of curler that I got at a local store which makes bigger curls, so I'm using that for 80% of my hair and these for a few spots like the hairline at my neck where the extra curl works to add body. For the price it's worth it to have another tool which gives me options, but it isn't something that gives me a look that works without a whole lot of fixing.

Comfortable Curlers
Update -I bought another pack of these curlers, because I loved them so much. But they arrived flat as could be, I opened them and gave them room to breatheand still flat. I moved them to a gallon sized baggie, a week later still flat. So, Idecided to return them. I tossed them in the backseat, so I had them with me,when I was somewhere near a Staples. It took a couple of weeks. But when I grabbedthem, they were all puffed up. I don't know when the puffed up, but did eventually,so, I cancelled my return. They are decent curlers, my girls love them, and love being able to do their own hair. There is a lot of them, so, if they feel like curling the dog's hair, too They can. The workon short and long hair, thick or thin. The curls have lasted through the day. If your curlers, take a while to puff up, know that they will eventually. Threaten them with a return anddrive them around in the car. If that what it takes. You will be happy that you didn't return them.___________________________________________________________________________________________These are great. They are comfortable to wear and to sleep in. They have different sizes in length andthickness. My daughters love doing putting their own curlers in, and they are easy for them to use. Theywork so well, too. I recommend these to everyone, little kids, big kids, adults, you will all love them.

Hard to use
First and foremost, these are a two inch sponge with a six inch wire at either end. That means, anyone with hair longer than two inches below the shoulder can’t use at all. Secondly, the best curl these will give is only with one inch sections. Anything bigger and these are impossible to tie. So keep that in mind. If you use a curling iron, that amount of time it takes you, is the same with this stuff. Thick-haired like me, you’re screwed. It’s 40min to an hour. Third, unless these are flush and tight against your head, you will not get a curled ringlet. You will get an uneven mixture of curls and beach waves. Fourth, these are near impossible to get tight and flush against your head. If you curl your hair with the curler against your head and wrap the hair around it going top to bottom, you have an issue with what to do with the ends of your hair. If you curl from the bottom to the top you end up doing most of them twice because they won’t stay against the head. The only two decent things are, one, if you are lucky enough to get it to curl, it does provide a tighter curl than the Octocurl, and second, they are softer to sleep on than the curling rods. Overall? Don’t buy. Too much frustration.

Very old design, but they still work.
These took me back to my childhood, and my mom rolling up my hair (always too tight). I slept on them just fine, and had curls in the morning!
