Auto Ventshade [AVS] Outside Mount Ventvisor / Window Deflectors | Fits 2003 - 2008 Honda Pilot, 4 pcs. | Smoke - 94744

I'm comparing this product to another different brand (Wellvisors) that I put on my Prius. I wanted to buy another set of Wellvisors but they didn't make them yet for our 2008 Honda Pilot. So I looked around and found these. These came packaged well, but upon opening the plastic, I was surprised that a good amount of dust and debris were INSIDE the sealed packaging between the plastic ventshades and the outer plastic. I literally had to windex clean them because they must have been packaged in some environment that had lots of dust/debris. And that dust had caused some small scratches in the plastic which should not have even been there to begin with but weren't so big that I would send them back. It's just that I don't understand why they wouldn't package things in a clean place, with maybe some air filters in place or something. Also, as one reviewer noted, the edges of the plastic are sharp. That's because these pieces were literally cut out, pretty well done, but still you can see they are not smooth and linear like a molded piece of plastic that came out of a mold or laser cut or something. These look like someone carefully cut them out by hand and that's why they have sharper edges. They still are pretty good, but just not as high quality as my other wind visors. The price was decent, there was 15% off and a $10 rebate, so I took the chance on these visors. They're okay, and they'll be fine, but they're not the highest quality. Their shapes however do contour very well to the door including the part that goes under the mirror. I have yet to drive them, but they seem very sturdy, and a good mix between low profile and wide. So would I buy them again? Sure, for $35 or so, I'd buy them. Much cheaper then those fancy $100 ones out there and most people don't spend too much time staring at window deflectors anyways. But I think they could package them in a dust free environment so they don't come with any small scratches to begin with. All in all though, they are nice and will do just fine!

Had the in-channel versions many years ago. They worked great for a few years until they all cracked. My theory is that the manufacturer had to make them thin enough so the windows would close, but that was also the point of failure (especially after years of heat/cold cycles). These are a perfect fit and easy to install. Installed all 4 in 15 minutes. Will update with durability and value after a few months.

Easy to install, follow the directions. I installed on a sunny day so the window panels would be nice and warm, allowing the Adhesive to bond/melt better. Did NOT run through a carwash until a few days later, to allow good adhesion and cure time. All the Vent pieces held up perfectlySturdyNo wind noises when driving at highway speeds

I like it when I started to put it on my SUV. I thought I'd had gotten a piece of junk. This product has a 1800 number for technical support. I uploaded a picture and show him how it didn't follow the form of passenger window. The tech told me I'd was matching up the wrong window. It should be the driver. He was right. Thanks for the tech support!

Arrived pretty fast, under a week a believe. Fit our '04 Honda Pilot nicely and blends in well with the dark paint job. Would be nice if the piece that fits over the trim could come over a tab bit more to meet closer to the guards in the back because they fit halfway over the trim leaving about three inches between each material. I managed to put them on during three good days of perfect weather to give them time to settle before almost a week of rain and they're still holding strong. Would buy again and have been recommending since I installed.UPDATE: Bought these in 2015 and proud to say that after 200,000 miles, in 2021 they’re still as good as when I put them on. Traveled all over Tennessee for years and it’s parks, forests, mountains into North Carolina, as well as traveling down the east and gulf coast beaches. These have survived tropical storms, freak ice storms, two deer impacts, tornado like winds, week long heavy rains, tree branch falling on the suv, fiancé’s drunk friend hanging off the side of our suv parked in the driveway, and southern style muggy weather combined with miserably 90+ days.

Great value! Very pleased with how easy install was and so far, they work great and the quality is there also! I have even gone through weekly car washes and no leaks and none of them are losing their stick. 10/10 would recommend.

One cracked after a few months. Can't buy just one piece to replace. EDIT: Supplier replaced the entire kit under warranty including free shipping direct from AVS. Thanks to Amazon and the supplier. 5 Star service!

does exactly what it should do. edges are raw and need sanding or you have a knife-like edge.

Easy to put on. Has held strong so far (been on 1 week now). Slow processing time, but I knew that when I ordered it.
